is using cheat in a game satisfying?

Hi werty, I do play games sometimes for fun. There are a lot of cheat code being spread out throughout the net but I never bother to take a look at it. If we play the games for fun then it would not work with cheating code. It is so easy to win the game and there is no thrills in it. For me, if you can not win the game fairly then just play the easy game. There is no need to cheat at all. There is no point to play the hard game but dishonest play a big part in it.

Well, as a competitive and hardcore gamer myself: I think cheating is fine as long as it isn't used to beat someone or if it's just to fool around in the game. Grand Theft Auto is a good example where I say cheating is fine because the game is a sandbox game anyways and some people just don't wanna do the story but want to cause havok. However, a game like say... Counter-Strike for example. Counter-Strike is a game that is meant to be played with other players and cheating in that regard is just silly and stupid. For one, Counter-Strike in itself doesn't have a ranking system much like what you see in on Xbox 360 or PS3 or a leaderboard. It doesn't mean anything in the end, you're basically just griefing people for your own sick enjoyment. Now, there's cheating like that and then there's being cheap. Being "cheap" is fine unless there's no actual way to get out of the situation and the ability to do the "cheap" tactic is very easy. For example, Street Fighter 2's tick throwing where you do a quick jab or a light kick and then immediately throw them. It's "cheap" but honestly, if you didn't know that you can just simply dragon punch out of it between the tick and the throw, that's your fault for losing, not the game or the opponent for being "cheap." Being "cheap" is a good tactic. Camping is another form of being "cheap" and that's a good tactic. Does it make the game less fun? Probably but you're there to win especially when it comes to competitions and tournaments. No one can play humble in a tournament and no one can cheat in a tournament either. I've seen someone cheat during a LAN (a gathering of people where they bring their computers and network up) and people grabbed the guy, threw him out and threw his computer out and shattered it into pieces. Don't cheat folks... but do please cheap if you need to win. Forget the honor system but do keep things within the scope of the game. Your opponent isn't gonna let you go home with the prize money and being honorable just means you're honorable with no money... and no one will care in the end either.

NO NOT TO ME, IVE SPENT MONTHS ON A GAME TO GET THRU IT, I JUST FIGURE YOU LEARN AS YOU GO, IF MAYBE YOU DONT LIKE THE GAME AND WANT TO GET IT OVER WITH IT'S STILL A WASTE WITH WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR GAMES TODAY ITS JUST MONEY WASTED. IVE BEEN TO A PLACE IN GEORGIA WHERE THEY LET YOU PLAY ALL NEW GzMES FIRST SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR BUYING, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT AWHILE TO GET TO PLAY ACCORDING TO WHAT GAME IT IS BUT THEY'LL TAKE U THRU EACH LEVEL FOR 30 SECONDS, ITS REALLY A GREAT WAY TO DO BUSINESS AND THE PLACE IS ALWAYS PACKED ALL DAY EVERY DAY.

Well i think its an entertaining way and it adds up more fun, than the usual straight way. Well, i usually watch my cousin kids playing with so much of fun and cheating adds more thrill to the game.

yeah right, playing with cheats it makes the game become too easy. So where is the thrill factor? But when stuck in a level of a game, it will also make ourselves dizzy. In my opinion using cheats is alright after we play the game in many hours and many ways but still has no way out. The last decision is to use cheats. But hey, how about using walkthrough ? It is different from cheating right?

i love this game!! specially when we have a trash talk to each other, i call my opponent weak every time i kill him/her, i love playing it because my strategy in gaming is improving every time i play it!! i love to use SVEN this Hero is really good!! also Tidehunter and krobelus!!

Well, I think it depend on the situation of the game? If you really want to finish a game with out a cheat? You really enjoy the trials that you are facing while playing it. But if you finish a game by a cheat? It simply you are just having fun. But honestly regarding the topic discussion? I believe that using a cheat will give you satisfaction but finishing it with out a cheat will give you satisfaction. Survive the disadvatage and you will be happy than surviving a specific situation with out disadvantage. You can compared this two situation because they are the same. By the way, when I'm playing any specific game and when I find it hard to solve a specific case or problem situation. I also use cheat because my dedication is there to finish it. Which you will do all the things that you can do in order to finish it and achieve what you want.

I love gaming too! :) I usually don't use cheats until I've completed the game at least once without cheats. Sometimes I'll play the game again just because I'm bored or if I enjoyed it and that's usually when I'll bring out the cheats. I still use cheats for GTA and stuff but that's like the only game I really use them for now. And I prefer playing online so I don't really need to use cheats.

i never cheat in the game. i feel nothing to satisfying, cheat makes the game interestingless.

I have tried cheats in games and i just used it to familiarize moves and later on exhale in a game when cheats are removed.

Im a gamer at heart too! good with i have you as a friend. And im pretty much into dota as well. But lately i dont get to play that much. I like playing the character of Traxex or Lion hahaha easy first blood lol. But hey im really glad that i have a gamer like you as a part of my friends list.But i dont use cheat codes though, it takes the excitement away ;)

cheating in a computer game? what will you achieve? From my point of view you will just waste the money you spent for the game..

Cheating is just for weak people. We should not be used in cheating a game because that thing will make us noob. Because when we get used yo it, we will just depend on it every time we play the game.

No cheating is despicable it means you are a failure at life so you have to cheat in order to accomplish anything. it is a simple video game if you have to cheat at it it means that you are an imbecile! don't cheat

What satisfaction can you truly have if you have to use a cheat in a game. Sure, it may be a shortcut, but not one you have earned. Games are supposed to be fun. They are not always about winning. The challenge to win is part of the game. If you have to cheat, it's not really winning. The game wouldn;t seem worth playing.

Fan of DOTA here, playing dota since map version 6.13 after that releasing new maps until now, their are so many cheats like maphack, although it's suck because they use it for me i don't want to use that cheat.... FIRST BLOOD mylotters

alright, here is on good reason why we use cheat in our games. It's because we want to end the game as early as we could possibly do. Games are not played good with cheats. It is how we play the game with normal mode that makes as SIKAT..

i love this game too! i think playing this game with lot of friends is a lot of fun! i used cheat only for my second playthrough rpg games :lol: hmmm,but for dota, i think using cheat is no fun at all.. dota is about team working.. and i enjoyed that :)
