Do you still respond to a post which has more than 50 responses or more?

I think there is nothing wrong in responding to a certain topic even it got 50 responses or more. I just don't know if the one who post it can still read my answer but I feel happy that somehow, I voice out my certain opinion on that topic which can be considered as a blockbuster. How about you? What is your opinion with this?

Me too! i mean i think theres nothin wrong with responding to a topic even if it got alot of comments already.Especially if i find the topic interesting i just go ahead and make my move that way i will be able to learn more by reading other people's opinion as well.Makes you even more ecxited to post your own opinion too ;)

Yeah, that is absolutely true. I feel great after voicing my own opinion also.

Every response to a discussion counts. So, don't shy away from block buster discussion. It also depends on whether the owner of the discussion reads or checks email notifications from MyLot. If the starter of the discussion has a habit of checking notifications, there is a chance your response will be read and will be commented in return. The truth is, let's say, in a discussion with already 50 responses, the 49 of them are already done, and they have been dealt with by the owner or starter of the discussion, and you're next in line!

I admit, when I was just new here, and my primary concern then was to boost my popularity rating (because I see in other members the star with number and color), I usually respond in newer discussions with fewer respondents so my response will surely be seen. Now that I am getting old here (in MyLot), and already got my red star, popularity rating is no longer an issue to me. Today, I no longer care if my response is already 50th or 100th. It's now purely about the topic.

There is nothing wrong even if we post to discussion that has more than 100 responses, but what worries me is, my response might be a identical or similar to one who has already responded, that is the reason I will respond to the discussion with no responses.

hi samson,
Yes, it happens to me as well. But sometimes, I still post thinking maybe I can add additional details on what had been already said.

hello annierose,
Oh yes! There is nothing wrong with it. In that case it only means that the topic is really interesting and I surely want to be a part of that discussion. Before I stumbled to a discussion that reaches more than 50 responses and I was so surprised enough to get some feedback or reply. I think that was Mysdianit's discussion.

hi danitykane,
I can see you have sharp memory because you still remember the name of the discussion you replied to. I salute you

We have given freedom here in mylot and I know we can express everything as long as we follow the rules here. Happy mylotting!

yes there is nothing wrong with that... if any discussion is able to attract 50 responds.. then it will surely attract any 1 on my lot..

Well, for as long as I find the discussion interesting, then I would respond. After all, there is no limit as to how many responses a discussion has to have right? So it really does not matter for me if there are few responses or many responses for as long as I find the discussion interesting, then I respond.

yes there is nothing wrong. but i think if you respond discussion. the asker will not go through your answer. i think 50 responses are like almost 25 pages of a book. and i dont think any person is really going to read each reply he receives if they are in big numbers.

I also don't find anything wrong in responding to a post which has already completed its 50 responses or more. I feel it such a way, because I am here in mylot to post my responses and share my ideas with everybody here. So, first of all, I don't see that how many posts are already there, I simply respond to it. Happy mylotting!

Hi Annierose,
Good day!
I still response to discussions with 50 or more responses especially if I'm very interested with the topic and I can relate to it. Usually the reason I respond to a certain discussiom is because I have something to say about the topic and I want to share my thoughts. It does not matter to me if the discussion got a lot of responses.

It depends a lot of the topic we're discussing. If something that really gets my attention, I would post regardless of the number of the number of responses that discussion has gotten. However, if I see a discussion full of responses too similar to what I was going to say, I wouldn't post at all because my response would be redundant.

I really don't mind if some people don't read my response. Chances are that more people will read it in a 50+ repsonse discussion than in a 50- discussion since the first one probably is read by more people. And the other thing that makes me answer those discussions is that usually discussions with more answers are more interesting, there wouldn't be so much answers if it wasn't :D

For me, number of posted responses to a discussion is not the criteria, rather some response worthy idea with the discussion that makes me to write a response is very important always! But it is always a practice with me to pick up new discussions and respond them in most of the cases. But I think that old discussions can also be responded nicely. Thanks for this posting and have a nice day!
