Happy being single

Hi, Though I don't think being single is a big deal, but it seems that we two have similar choices. I have other things that are of much greater priorities than girls. I wanna be stable and established first and then I want to help those who are experiencing similar problems like the ones I did while climbing up. I want to help students who have difficulties continuing their studies due to lack of funds. I also want to help poor children who have to beg to feed their sick parents. There are so many things that are yet to be done. I want to be a part of this, which I think is a much greater achievement than a successful relationship. Thanks God bless you

I honestly would tell you that you could never really say you're happy unless you've been through both - having a boyfriend and not having one. But if you think you're not ready for it, then don't force the issue. Just enjoy what you have and what God gives you.

Really...hard to think that you never had a ny relationship in the past because at some point in our life we really have to under go this phase. I think you are hard to please or to impress with or maybe you have high standard when it comes to choosing a partner or boyfriend. Whatever the case I admire you because you are happy being single. As for me I can't live for long with out a girlfriend. The longest would be one month with out a girl. maybe I am not just being use alone. I am much more happy and comfortable with life if I have someone to love and someone to love me.

In my opinion, it's the most improtant thing to finish my studies well.The period at the university ,I will try to improve myself every day in every way . Because I believe only when I become good ,and would have the good people like me .So happy being single now .

First if you feel like your not yet ready for it...then you should not force your self...just enjoy...anyway you will have a partner in life anyway and spend the rest of your life with him...for now just take it easy and be happy:)

Me neither I am also NBSB (no boyfriend since birth) :) But I don't feel that I'm lesser as a person just because of that. First and foremost that was my deal with my parents to finish first my studies before having one and luckily that deal is accomplished. And now that I already graduated I'm still single and enjoying socializing and meeting with different people. I still enjoy my status now because I believe that if there is someone for me the time will come that I will meet him :) I just take things slowly and enjoying what I have for now :)

Hi welcome to the mylot. First and the foremost important thing is you should be happy then it hardly does matter if you are single or not. It all depends on what will satisfy you and in what you are comfortable with. That's really a great thing that you are happy being single and good that a relationship doesn't bothers you.

Ive had a few boyfriends in the past but I realized I enjoyed being single more. Right now I am just focusing on school so I don't have time for a boyfriend. Many of my friends are going through the bf gf drama while I sit back and watch. I don't like being tied down to one person I like being able to talk whomever I want. Sometime in the future I will get married but right now Im just enjoying life.

Dont worry about it, I havent had a proper boyfriend for years, Ive been on dates but thats where its ended. Its not one of my priorities either, I have always found then when Im in a relationship that they take up most of my time, which I dont like, my time is mine, and I like to do what I want to do in my time, not feel like I have to go see him, maybe I just havent met the right person yet, but I dont feel as if Im missing out on anything by not being in a relationship. I love my life and dont need anyone else in it to improve anything.

I'm single too right now. I've been through relationships though and all I can say is that I'm more happy being single than in a relationship. I have been through messy relationships and it has been a great relief to be single again and not to deal with those disturbing negative emotions. In being single, you don't have to fret about your significant other being unfaithful behind your back. You only have yourself to indulge into anything that you want (hanging out with your friends and family). No one is possessive of your time and you are not choosing between your family or your boyfriend. :)

I think it's more lucky that you don't have a BF since birth than you have a failure relationship .But in my home town, if you are single when you near 30,the persons aroud you will think you are a little weird and think too much.I think this is privacy,and I don't like this kind of pressure,which can come from your family.

Dear enjoy it the most till you are single!I didn't have a boyfriend till I was 23,and was completely free and happy! but when i started my first relationship,it got all weird!boys are trouble,but its like you get addicted to have a relationship!anyway it was like this for me and my friends!they are like heroine i think! :-D not good for you but very addictive!

Having a boyfriend is not a main reason of being happy. It is to a person if what will make her happy. Especially when you are still young and you are have to work hard to achieve your goals in life. yes, it is a matter of choosing your priorities. I did the same thing,I never had a boy friend untill I finished my course and had job. It is just a matter of choice.

Hi JustMean, First and foremost, Welcome to MyLot. What is important in someone life's is happiness. If they were happy with their current situation or position, then it is the best for them. As for you, if you happy with it then it is your choice to stay that way. There is no point to have a boyfriend or girlfriend if it would make our life miserable. There is always pros and cons in this life and it is up to us to make a correct choice. There is no need for us to follow the majority if that is not our choice. Happy myLotting and have a nice day.

Yes, It's depends on the choice or priority of the person if he or she wants to be single. Maybe they are afraid with the responsibility and the time to know each other behavior.

Most girls and guys these days always look for relationships, sometimes to an extent that they're forcing it instead of waiting for the right person to come. Anyway, I really admire you for taking pride on your status and for putting priority to those things that matter more. Contrary to what most people think relationships aren't so easy to be in. It demands time and responsibility. Anyway, take pride that you haven't had a boy friend since birth. Guys value that.
