These instruments are both instruments which people mostly likes to play. Me? I really love piano, it was easier for me to learn and play than guitar. How about you? Which do you prefer?

Honestly, I don't know how to play guitar and piano. I do have some "talent" when it comes to drums. I was a member of our drum and lyre club back in my elementary days. Now back to the topic. I want to learn both instruments but If you'll ask me to choose just one, I'll pick the piano.

I also think I have some inborn talent in playing drums.LOL. Will that make you slim? I see that drummers sweat the most in a band.

Will that make you slim? I really don't know... LOL! But based from your observations that drummers sweat the most in a band, we might come to the conclusion that yes, it makes you slim. You're actually exerting force on drums, so technically you're using up calories.

Guitar. Guitar. Guitar. I prefer the Guitar. I play it. She is a beautiful instrument. I don't mind the piano though. Hard to learn though, dern it. I'm in favor of string instruments anyway.

Oh. I envy you. I find it really really hard to play a guitar. If it were a bass guitar then it won't be a problem.LOL.

Hahaha. Don't enveh. If you want to learn how to play the bass, you should also pick up normal alto-treble 6 string guitars too. Just a suggestion, dont have to. you play bass? i think its cool that people have musical talent. Thanks!

I play piano and I find it better then guitar. It is a bit harder as you really have to stretch your fingers to get the octaves, but it produces a better sound and you can use the pressure on the keys to make it soft loud, or to ensure the correct mood. With guitars, you are limited.

I like playing the keyboard, I haven't played a piano for a very long time and I'm really not that good at it. I love playing the guitar however and when I was at school I used to be in my own rock band, nothing quite like enjoying playing a instrument. It's also where I found my love for songwriting and poetry, as I liked to tie my musical pieces together and over the years I've written quite a few songs. I don't really sing however, so I usually get people to sing my songs but only indie/hobbyist. My old stomping ground was a place called "musesmuse".. I learned so much from being on that site and I wished I had more time to play the guitar.

I have both a piano and a guitar, but my prominant instrument is the piano. I got a guitar thinking I would learn the thing, but it is still in my extra bedroom. I put some much time and energy into the piano, it's like I just don't have the time and patience to handle both instruments.

When it comes to playing the piano with both hands, it could feel overwhelming initially. Remember as mentioned to keep it simple. Play the same tune or key with your left hand if you have to while focusing your attention on the right. When we get more comfortable with this, we will notice more opportunities to expand upon it.

I started playing piano when I was a teenager, but now mostly play the piano. I don't really know why... maybe because I'm lazy and it seems that the guitar takes more effort. I usually play the piano every day, the guitar once a week or less.

I don't really know how to play either. However, for a couple of years now, I've really wanted to learn how to play the piano. I hope that one day I will be able to learn how to play this instrument, as well as find the time to do it. But I'll just have to wait and see.

I love to play guitar, because that is what I know to play haha. But, I think that piano is amazing also, and is my dream to learn piano someday. I go crazy listening some piano songs, like on example the Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, that's an amazing song that is a dream of any musician who wants to know how to play piano!

as for me,i want to learn both of them. but if you want to start playing something recognizable right away you must start with guitar.if you want to learn to read music and understand keys, start with piano. one thing about learning guitar is that too much more portable than a keyboard/piano.you can serenade and entertain in most any environment not like piano. one good thing about piano is you will learn to read music to play and understand keys which can help you with basic foundations of music theory. but it all comes down to one thing.what do you like most?the answer is probably what's in your heart. learning piano will teach you more about music but guitar is much easier to receive instructions on,and is obviously more versatile due to its size. guitars can easily replace strings, and you can tune your own guitar not like in piano which is more expensive.

its advantage for me that I can play both piano and guitar! it depends on the person.... but for me I prefer to play piano because it is easier, by just pressing the keys, the note starts to ,play!

I like both, still I prefer guitar. Even though it is little difficult to grab, once it is in your hand, it makes magics, if you are an expert. No one never fed up with this instrument, that is guitar.

Guitar is what I prefer because that was the one I have learned to play. If I will have a chance to learn to play piano, I will not hesitate coz I know it is also one good musical instrument. Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

I would prefer the piano as well. I don't know why I always have a hard time learning to play the guitar. My fingers get callouses and I even get blisters. Piano won't make my fingers hurt that much.

hi, i like to play a guitar rather than a piano because a guitar can be carried standing or sitting and makes me look like a rockstar. cool!
