Does anyone have a favorite facial primer? I already use Urban Decay primer potion for keeping my eyeshadow there but I need to buy a facial one. Some of the reviews that I have read are mixed so Im not sure which one to go for. Ive even been a bit cheeky and gone to both benefit and Urban Decay make-up counters to see if I could try one out but each time have been told that they dont have it there to try. I dont really want to buy one and find that it doesnt do anything, or it makes my face really sticky, so hopefully someone here can help me.
Thank you!

I wear makeup all the time 'coz its a requirement in my job.. so it was like a daily basis for me, anyway, since then I've actually never tried a primer before, but what I usually do is mixed my sunblock/moisturizer with my liquid foundation and spread it onto my face until even, then I put on everything and finished with a powder foundation.. I don't know if that keeps my eyeshadow for longer hours, 'coz I usually do touchups on my lunch break.. however, there's this makeup primer I wanted to try, its in the internet, just search Ellana Mineral makeup, I've tried their mineral foundation and its non-sticky and very smooth, blends evenly too..

My sister has always had good luck with the foundation from Mary Kay. It is a powder that you put on, instead of the liquid form. My mother has always sold Avon, so you would think that this would have been a problem. However, my mom understands that the Mary Kay is what works best for my sister, so she never complained. She even still buys it for her as a gift for her birthday or Christmas on occasion.
I, myself, never had much luck with makeup. It always seemed as if I looked like a clown or something when I wore it. So, except for Halloween, I don't have a tendency to wear makeup. However, I think I could use some, if only I could find a good match or learn how to put it on better than what I've ever been able to do. I even went to a makeover session where there are supposed to help you and ordered some very expensive makeup, years ago. But it really wasn't helpful at all, unfortunately.
Good luck in finding something that really works well for you!

Thank you for your response, you should do what I do with make up, every now and then I go to one of the big department stores and go to one of the make up counters and they will usually put some of their make-up on you if you tell them that you dont know what suits you. Ok they do try to sell you the products they use but its worth it if you find something that really suits you, this way you find out the best ways to put it on and what shades suit you. If your good at saying no to things you dont want then you should be fine. And if you dont have luck with the first one, just go to a different counter next time. But if your comfortable with no make up then theres probably no reason, the natural look is best anyway! The reason that I asked about Primer was because they have never tried this on me, so I like to get others opinion about this.
