when was the last time you played in the rain

Does playing sport in the rain count? I do this fairly regularly and got absolutely soaking wet competing only a month ago. I do archery for a sport and this has happened to me many times while doing it over the years. Sometimes you only get a little wet, other times you get soaked to the bone! The last time that I played in the heavy rain at home though was probably about 4 or 5 years ago maybe. I set up a slippery slide made from plastic in the backyard and put dish washing soap all over it so that the kids could have fun sliding and I just had to try it out too. ! I also had a shower in my backyard once too with soap and shampoo and everything. I also used to wash the cars in the rain when we were on extreme water restrictions here.

Really a good discussion for the people who love rain..I like rain a lot and when comes to playing I like it more...Last time I played was 2 or 3 months ago i think....Near my home there is a ground..we use to play cricket there...Actually there is no rain when the opposite team played and we when we have to chase their score rain came heavily...All went to my friends house nearby.Then there is no sign of rain to stop..I told we can play in the rain and we started playing...wow what a fun.....seriously we lost that game..I can't able to bat at all...it was raining heavily...My bat slipped of from my hand...while I try to play a shot...We all enjoyed that day very much..and really it was a great day... And when I studying in college we use to play football sometimes...Same the rain came...we enjoyed a lot...really playing in rain...is something we should not miss in life.......I will play whenever i get a chance...

The last time I played in the rain had to be about 10 years ago. I was taking down a gazebo in my backyard when all of a sudden the sky opened up with a downpour. Well my boyfriend thought I was crazy but I said lets not stop and we just had fun in the rain running around trying to get this gazebo down and getting soaked. It was such a blast. Our tenants and my daughters thought we were crazy and were laughing watching us get soaked and having fun.

Well i like rain and we enjoyed our get-together party in rain last year it was a summer rain and had a great fun! I like to play football.

I was playing in a football match when suddenly it started but minutes ago the weather was sunny.Its just a great feeling,the water droplets hitting you body and cold winds blowing.My favourite season in the rainy season whereas summer season pretty hot u wont enjoy playing soccer in this season but cricket is best game to play in this season.But you cant play cricket in rain

That was at least 20 years ago, im with my friends then it was raining hard, well thats usually the time that we all bathe in the rain .Come to think of it now i never get to see those friends of mine we have our seperate lives already living in different places, how i wish i will be able to turn back the hands of time and do it one more time. i can't remember anymore because i think it is so long ago... but i never actually purposely play in the rain because i don't want to get sick... but every now and then i can get soaked in the rain when the rain suddenly comes and i forget to take my umbrella with me... take care and have a nice day...

I guess, it would be back in grade school. What you said is true, you're not a kid when you haven't experienced the simple joys of playing in the rain. For us in my generation, playing in the rain signaled the start of the rainy season and the end to summer. It meant that we would have to go back to school and spend most of our day learning, while during summer all we did was play.

i don't play in the rain cause i am not kid any more. and also the rain in the city is not clean any more because of the pollution. so i won't do that. but i would like to experience that again sometimes. but i have no chance to do that. it will be fun if i could experience it once again.

I was about 19 the last time I played in rain. I was hanging out with friends after classes and it had been hot all day so we danced around in the rain since there wasn't any lightening flashes and we wanted to cool off. I don't see too much rain thats not accompanied by electricity though.

Hi WErty, The last time i played in the rain was last year. My youngest son is so scared of rain. As part of my therapy for him to have an aprpeciation of the rain and overcome his fear of it...we played under the rain. i started with asking him to feel the rain by his hands until he became comfortable about it. then we play in the rain that he enjoyed. now, he's fine with rain.

My childhood isn't actually complete. I haven't played in the rain my entire life. I know it's a little odd for a kid not to experience those kinds of things. If I could do it all over again (my childhood) I'll probably go places and do crazy stuff.

Last week. I'm a eternal child if is raining. Just love to run in the rain, to kick the water, to feel the rain in me. Kind of purify me, so renewing. I think that everybody should try some day, to forget the problems and see the beauty of the life.

a really long time ago

I really cannot remember when was the last time. But I remember playing in the rain many times back when I was younger. It was always with my brothers outside of the house and we would have so much fun. I just loved it whenever I hear the rain splattering on our roof, I would hear my brothers call me just to say that we're going out to play udner the rain.

I would love to play in the rain but it is not possible now because of the El Nino now hitting the Philippines hehehe. It is super hot here these days. I remember playing in the rain when I was in 2nd year college, I just graduated so it was not a long time ago. I was messing with my classmates and all. Our school is really full of trees, and they make up most of the sunshield for pathwalks, so when it rains, that is a big problem hehehe. We ended up wet even though we did not intend to, so we just enjoyed it.

Oh, that must have been ages ago and we had to do it when my parents were away because they didn't want us to do that for fear that we'd catch cold.

Playing in the rain is one of my happiest childhood memories. When we were small, we are allowed to bathe in the rain. The first rainfall then was believed to have healing effect because of its purity. But now I cannot allow my children to play in the rain. I scold even my teen age son when he goes home wet with rain. It's now unhealthy to bathe in the rain because of the present environmental condition which makes it acidic.

That was so long ago, your question really made me nostalgic about my childhood days. I loved to play in the rain so much when I was young. Its like I wished it would rain everyday. Well, that's one of the joys of a child.No problems.Just playing around.

It was just last year rainy season I played in rain.It was a sudden rain and I rushed to the terrace to get wet and slowly I hummed rain songs and enjoyed thoroughly!!....Nice experience!
