Naps are great. I love them, too much though. I usually nap and miss important things.

Hardly thumbs up worthy my dear friend, why just the other day I fell asleep for a nap DURING a conference call that would help me to become a better person
But, they are recordedall I have to do now is remember to listen to them, it is better to participate though.

I have a habit of sleeping on a noon time and still manage it even if I am on a shifting schedule with work. When I am not working on an afternoon shift I will sleep on a noon time. I do not have a problem with sleeping. I can sleep anytime I want either it's day time or night time. One good thing is I can easily wake up.

When I was in college, I very rarely took naps. What I did instead was that I would plan my day out in such a way that I would be able to get eight hours of sleep at night. Then, during the day, I would do a lot of studying along with the classes that I was taking. In addition to that, I also tried to make sure that I would be able to work some time into my day where I would be able to have a little bit of time that was recreational.

yes, ypyanyan, i do take a nap in the afternoon. after lunch and some cleaning up, i take a cat nap which may last 20 to 30 minutes or so. to me, the nap refreshes me and i feel energetic and 'alive'.a nap makes me active and i can help in the chores or whatever i am suppose to accomplish. i have been doing this since a child and it becomes a habit. its a good habit to have a nap.

how i wish i can get a short sleep at noon time during work, but i can't. but sometimes i can get a longer nap on weekends.

Just a nap after your meals will not do any harm.In fact it charges you and keeps you fresh for the rest of the day.But literally sleeping is a bad habit and try to avoid it.You may engage yourself in reading some nice books of your taste or even watch some tv shows in the beginning to get rid of this habit.

I don't usually sleep at noon. I only sleep when I really am super sleepy. Sometimes, I also sleep only if I lack sleep the night before. I view sleeping at noon as a waste of time. That is because I usually log into Mylot or watch tv shows during lunch break. Then I just sleep earlier than usual at night.

Hi ypyanyan,
I rarely take a nap at noon. Sometime I feel very sleepy but I always try not to fall a sleep. Every time I take a sleep (nap) at noon, it is hard for me to sleep at night.
I believe it is good to take 10 to 15 minutes nap at noon so refresh our body and we can stay up at night if we had something to do.

I don't sleep every noon. That would ruin the jumpstart of my day. That would just make me feel awful. I like my day flowing without any sleep.

Me too.I do love sleep very much.I like to sleep every noon.Every time I did't do this I would feel sleepy all the afternoon.And if I have classes,I would certainly sleep in the class.I had try to change this habit,but I failed.So even in winter,I am still used to takeing a nap at every noon.

Funny we also do that here in our country. I thought it was the Spanish influence but now that you have mentioned it I'm doubting that already. We have a lot of Chinese customs too.
I have to sleep at noon. Definitely.

I really hate sleeping at noon though there are researches that says that a nap can increase the efficiency of an individual but I don't find that interesting at all.The only time I sleep is at night.In the noon if I feel like sleeping then I just try to involve myself in something interesting and give the sleep a miss.You said that if you don't go to sleep at noon you feel bad and I feel bad if I have to sleep at noon.So there is of course a little bit of difference between your habit and mine friend.

i dont have a habbit. but i feel like sleeping many times in the noon and this really make me comfortable when i sleep in the noon.
what ever i am happy when i sleep in the noon. but some time this is not good to sleep in the noon as when you work it will just down your efficiency
