What do you do to relax?

I went to the beach today with my relatives and it was fun.... I forgot how fun it is to just relax and swim. I have not done that in over a year and it was refreshing! The sea breeze makes me doze off easily and the crashing of the waves is like a lullaby to my ears. I have forgotten how to have fun in quite awhile and I look forward to making short trips in the coming days. What do you do to relax and take a brake off from your busy day?

First let me say that I've decided to make myself as busy as possible online to earn so that in the coming months I can earn enough to help save for the vacation we will be taking. I will relax at the vacation and I think it will be that much sweeter because I did work myself to pieces, and then on vacation will be able to just relax and have fun.

I take a swim in the pool to relax my mind. I do not know why, but there is just something with it that makes my mind feel very light. I usually take a deep breath and dive underwater, holding my breath as long as I could hoping that I will reach the other end without even taking a single breath. I like the feeling of being underwater. It is just soothing to hear nothing but the deafening silence it gives, The peace and the tranquility it brings just puts me in awe during my deep, long dives. who wouldn't be relaxed after being underwater for a long time?

I like to take walks with my dog, and short trips. I like to ride and look around, at the scenes. I like the country and see the sites. I also like to ride around town. I like to go to the park, and walk around. This brings me rest.

I take the dogs outside and putter around in my yard. Today I am going to get my blackberry beds ready for planting when they arrive latter this week. I love a walk in the woods or by the creek, this is my way of relaxing. I think the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach would be relaxing but I am too far from the oceans to think about going there. My home is located right smack dab in the middle of the USA. So if you have a map of the USA make an "X" from corner to corner and where the lines cross is 5 miles from my home. By that you caan see that I have a long drive if I want to see the sea.

We have one that is 13 year old and getting pretty stove up from soreness in the joints. Then we are keeping a young female for my wife's ex husband after he had an auto accident and is confined to the hospital and rehab unit. Boy is she ever a terror she won't listen to anything I try to do or tell her.

Maybe listening to music is a good choice to release stress.I often listen to music at work time,as we know during that time we don't have enough time to go to beach for relaxing.Music is good way to remove any psychic hurt, there are all kinds of music so you can choose any one that suit you.Listening music even can happen in work time as long as your boss permit. You need't do it aside a time,it is flexible. But if i have enough time i also like to beach ,the endless sea can make me forget anything bothering.

I love music too but I do stay away from music that affects me emotionally. Like for example if you just broke up with a guy you don;t wanna listen to love songs lol it will make you more miserable lol!

My husband takes me out on regular dinner dates just so we have time together alone. This relieves us of the stress both from each other's office and gives us privacy from our two kids at home. Sometimes when we want to stay awake longer at night, we buy sizzlers and bring it home, then we'll have some drinks inside the bedroom by the lampshade with soft music on the background. This way, we don't lose that romantic feeling between us. For the whole family, especially now that it's summer, we've scheduled swimming at least every two weeks so we can have bonding altogether. Our first outing was last Sunday and the kids had a really great time and were soooooo excited and are consistently asking for more in the coming weekends. We all would have loved to go to the beach but since we live quite far from the beaches here in our country, we have to settle for the swimming resorts instead. But I don't regret it... the children don't really care whether it be a beach or a pool as long as they can swim themselves the whole day! :)

I relax by reading my bible, watching tv, and I consider walking my dog relaxation, as I get one with nature, and see what is all around me. I walk them twice a day, and it is good for me as I do need my exercise, and having them helps me to get it. I like to lay back in my easy chair too, and I end up taking a nap, which really helps too, as I get so tried qauicly, beings I am in my 60"s. I guess babysitting the grandkids can be relaxation too. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Unfortunately, I don't get as much time to relax as I would like to have. But, there are certain things that I really like to do to relax after a long day. My favorite think to do in able to relax is to take a hot bath with the book that I am currently reading. I will typically do this at least once a week after I've put the children to bed. Not only does it help me to get clean, it also helps me to relax and put my mind at ease.

i wish i could go to beach too to relax but beach is too far from here and very expensive so instead of spending i will rather want to save it for my upcoming birthing cost. i guess for me i can do that at home with a lot of ice tea full of ice with me while facing the fan and browsing, or lying in bed while watching film.

First of all I sleep the whole day, if not, I'll sleep as much as I can. Then I go out, watch movies or eat out with my friends. I just try to have fun.
