Girls night in or girls night out?

Since the recession started my friends and I spend many more good old girly nights in instead of going out for drinks or a meal. We just take it in turn to prepare a nice dinner and everyone brings a nibble or a drink with. It's actually good fun and reminds me of being a teenager.
Do you prefer nights out or nights in? Do you do this to save money?

I think it does save money. But I will not always hold party at home ,going outside or not depends who the crowd are.I donnt mind stay in if they are my close friend, coz I perfer the atmosphere stay with my friends as family. If they are not,I will do outside, coz I donnt wanna get the rid of messing my house.

Good point. You wouln't want acquaintances in the house if you don't fully trust that they know how to behave in someone else home.

That sounds like alot more fun then going out. Especially in these times when money is tight. When I lived in New York a bunch of us would get together at someone's house and we would bring drinks and my friend would make food. Or we would all bring a dish. It was so much fun hanging out and enjoing ourselves. I think its a bit more safe then going out to a club and drinking to much and getting into touble of some kind or meeting an undesirable person.

It is. I guess it just depends what you expect from the night. I think both going out and staying in have their advantages.

i think first ask your self why you go out at night. the answer would be to enjoy. and the second thing you have told that you are enjoying at your home now.
so in my view home is the best place for any. if you are in any trouble you would like to be at your home and that matters.
i think you must enjoy at your home now.

You are right. But sometimes it's fun going out, meeting different people, different places. Isn't it?

Yes, it is nice. I wouldn't want it every weekend though - too much work!
