What is your favourite day-trip out?

Over the Easter break my husband and I went out for a day-trip to a close by historical house with beautiful gardens. I think a few years ago this would have bored me and I'd have rather gone for drinks or to the cinema. But I quite enjoy outings were I get some fresh air nowadays. What do you like to do when you have time to go out during the day on a day-off?

I had a day-trip last week,similar with u,I went to local froest park to breath fresh air and with my partner.U know,that's a really laid-back place and it's amazing to dabble ur body in wild nature , much better than some oter manual ritzy occasions

Since we do not live too far from the horse track, I love to go and watch the horse run. There is also a bunch of slots there to that are fun to play. We take a few dollars and make a day of it. If we win we brag the whole way home about how much we have won and if we lose we say that it was better to go have a day out in the sun than sit around the house and waste the day.
