Can somebody help me how to gain weight?

I used to be 55 kilos then, but now i'm only 47 kilos. all of my friends are worrying about me. They said, i'm sick and i should seek help from doctor. Actually, i'm not sick. I'm just maintaining my figure. But all of my friends told me that, it don't look good on me... As I was about to gain weight, I can't eat more than I used to. Can somebody tell me how to gain weight? Your advice is very much appreciated. thank you!

It think if you did not eat much, how do you gain weight? Also your conscious in your figure. I think to get fat is to eat much rice and drink much water.

I'm drinking a lot of water... i'm not that conscious now in my figure, that's why i wanna gain weight. but even if i want to eat more rice, i can't.

I think it's your choice to gain weight and exercise in the gym. I think the problem is it became the hobby of not eating too much so your digestion became that.

hi roscelcruz...gaining weight is not always dealing with how much you eat. the important thing is your calorie intake. you must consider your daily activities whether it burned more calories from your body or less. more activities means more calories you need. in this case, you need to eat 6 times daily. just avoid junk food. try to include whey protein shake in your meal. at last, don't leave your workout day. doing exercise is good for both your body and health.

If you eat a high carb diet then that should help you gain weight, since to loose weight the first thing people do is to cut out the carbs. So snacking on cake and bread would be a good thing. Have pasta for meals should also help you gain weight. Men, who are trying to gain weight so that they can gain muscle eat a lot of protein especially in the form of red meat, so you could try eating beef, pork etc. Also if you gradually increase your portion size, you will gradually be able to eat more and more, because you body gets full and sees a tiny bit more on the plate and thinks "oh that won't be so bad" and this continues until you can eat double the amount you can now.

Good day roscelcruz! In my knowlege the best thing to gain weight is to complete the 3 meals in a day . You can eat your snacks between the time you will eat the second meals.The sweets and other vegetables can make you gain weight. So also with eating meat. Exercise daily and drink vitamins. You will go to the doctor and say what happened to your body and there you will be satisfied of it. The first thing that can lead us in gaining weight is eating all the time . It is sound as jokes but sure to see that our weight will be more if we have more intakes too.

Everyone should maintain their BMI depends upon their age,height and gender.SO to know simply,just measure your height in centimeters and reduce 100 from it. that should be your ideal weight for a person.So if you think that you are underweight can improve it by having a balanced diet.Some of them are eating 5 badam's or sprouts in empty stomach, eat food that are rich in protein and fruits and vegetables.These will surely put on weight.Moreover always think positive and think that iam gaining weight by eating these kind of foods.

Hello. I actually have the same problem as you. I am 128lbs when I am supposed to be 140-150lbs. My doctor says I should gain weight.This is true. But, then again he is wrong. The doctor's point is this: I need you to stay healthy so this means: eating right , exercising right and sleeping right. I am an athlete, so I can run as much as 15k straight. This being said, athletes don't need to be at par with their ideal weight. Athlete, I pertain here as runners,swimmers, bikers. Cardio based exercises. If you are an athlete like me, you have no problem. If you are not, I suggest you do exercises that are cardio based, this is because if our system or at least our lungs and lifestyle is ok, we are less prone to diseases. A little exercise can't kill anyone. Cardio is the safest kind of exercise so, let us do that :)

Hi, Maybe the most appropriate thing to do is to purchase the available gain weight formula in the market. There are quite a number of these products nowadays, and you can choose which one is the best for your. You can always ask the advice from a pharmacist if you don't know which one works best on you. My uncle used to be skinny before but after he consumed a type of weight gain formula which I can't tell you because I don't even know what brand he is using, he has gained weight. however, the funny thing was he didn't gain his weight immediately after consuming it. He took it on a daily basis for three whole years without fail. His weight didn't increase and he was frustrated, so he decided to stop. After he stopped taking the formula, miraculously his weight began to increase and now he looks like a giant because he is very tall indeed. He is not fat but he looks more like a body builder. For you, I think you should also consider eating more even when you think you can't, because in order to gain weight you must eat more than you usually take. If not, from where are you going to get those extra pounds from? I suggest that you eat more often, hopefully you will be able to gain that extra weight. Or else, you have to be satisfied with your body which I don't think is too skinny in the first place. If I were you, I will just be myself no matter what my friends say because if I can't eat more than I can now, what's the point of forcing myself to eat out of my personal limits? I think you are not married yet for now, and maybe you will gain some weight after you are married especially when you are conceiving a baby. Naturally women will gain weight during pregnancy and if you still like how you look then you will be able to maintain that body weight after you have delivered your baby. Even though this is a long term goal but at least you are on the way there and not rushing now to get what you want is actually decreasing the pressure off you. As a conclusion, as long as you are not sick it is better to eat the way you eat now and never skip your meal. There are some people who have a very active metabolism rate and their body burn the food they eat almost instantly. So it means you are very healthy because you don't keep any fat inside your body and everything is flushed out immediately, leaving only the valuable nutrients inside your body. you might try some of that weightlifters' bulk up. it has vitamins and different things in it,might be safer than just randomly eating more.

Just eat more carbohydrates. Don't exercise to much. Gaining weight comes its way when you are not minding it just eat and eat. Time will come you'll gain much away from your expectations.

I think you should condition your mind that you have to gain weight. That way you can eat more than you used too. You can also eat a lot of protein. Try exercising too. Muscle weight is heavier than fat weight, just don't exercise too much. You will end up losing weight.

You could eat more vegetables and fruits.If your nutrition is enough for your body,you don't care about your weight.A healthy body depends upon your weight,so you should exercise more.

are you in good health? what is your height? I am 160cm,and I am 45kilos.I am in good health.I think if you are in good health and your weight matched your height ,you don't need to worry about it .it should be ok .

Stop using cooking oil, go to an Indian / Pakistani store and ask for Ghee, preferably "Desi Ghee" which is the real thing. This purified butter for cooking french fries and any other fried food will soon put on the pounds. Just watch your heart though!

eat banana with milk regularly and do exercises specially stomach related to improve your digestion....drinking pomegranate juice is also helpful in this matter....
