How do you know that God exists?

I do agree with you teito_klein that there is peace with God. Though I must admist that there were times, a lot of times, that I do backslide. I sometimes missed out on praying and have had concentrated on things less important. I regret those times and I always ask for forgiveness. Now, I pray more for strength that I will keep my faith and even to become stronger.

Believe in those power he has all of us will be save by his name, just a blink of an eye he can do anything who pray and need for help by just saying a powerful prayer, believing in those words he had made.

I agree with you, God should always be the center of our life.. He should never be left out- even though how busy we are we must never forget Him.

As I read your topic I felt some serenity knowing that I am not alone in believing that there is God up above who will love and take care of us no matter what kind of things we do here. Even if we do something bad as long that we repent all our sins he will be able to forgive us. God is good all the time and because of that I am thankful of his undying love and mercy to me,to my family and to the rest of the world. I am much more closer to God than ever before because he hailed something in me he has proven his miracle to me and I am forever grateful with his holiness.

Yes, very true. But this is much true to those who have a personal relationship with God and to those who fully obey in His Word. God will never force himself to someone who does not want to believe or reject Him. Although life in general to be so good and all, is not what every Christian should be expecting. Jesus Christ himself has reminded us that when we follow Him, we should deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him (Mark 8:34). This means persecutions, trials, tribulations and sufferings will also come. But we must rejoice if we are experiencing it according to James 1:2-4. Yes, in Everything we must give thanks for this is the will of God (1Thes. 5:18). Even if all men will hate us according to Matt.10:22...But he who stands firm to the end will be save.

I think my experience with God is similar to yours. I now feel "at peace" with life and all the challenge / problems it has to offer. Being close to God doesn't mean life will be perfect - it just becomes easier to bear the difficult times and burdens seem to become lighter with a life that's prayerful. I believe some people have the wrong attitude towards God. God isn't a lucky amulet or a genie in a lamp that should make everything perfect with magic. Life isn't like that. I believe suffering has its own value and its reason is to teach us human beings about many things that we could never understand unless we experience sufferings. It's hard to experience sufferings even with the love of God ---but it's a lot harder without it.

Correct! It is true that God is amazing and excellent! He is the owner of everything on earth and also our life. We just borrowed our life from Him and He is the one knows when it stops.Yes I do all the things to Him because I adore Him and worship Him all the time. Whatever I am going to do I ask His guidance and protection. I always thanks Him whatever success that I have reap through His blessings and praise Him to continue show the way of goodness and deeds.

Nice discussion teito_klein! I hope that many mylotters would be inspired and start realizing that all we have are blessings of God... Everything we enjoy are gifts of God... The problem with people and that includes me, sometimes we forget God during our happiest days or moments... sometimes we get super crowded because of all the blessings we are receiving...we tend to forget Him. We only come and talk to Him more when we are in pain or we are in a stressful situation... I am guilty of that too teito_klein. Yes we managed to thank him for the things we asked and granted but as the days go by... we will lie low... like we will seldom talk to him day by day... Keep your faith up and God will continue to bless you! Life is really wonderful if we have God in our lives... God has plans for us -plans to proper us and not to harm us. Yes you are right. God is very great to us even us sometimes do not do good. I am so thankful to God that he pulls me from the wrong path because way back with my college life I am a rebellious child of my parents. My mother is very strict and during those days I really can't understand why she is so strict to me because my friends can get out late at night and then me I can't that is one of my reasons why I am so angry with my mom. But God don't give up on me he uses my boyfriend and my dad to explain everything and also some situations that happened to me that made me realized that I am in the wrong path already and right then on I try to understand my mom and control myself in getting angry because i want to be close with God and do good to others. I hope those people who are already in a wrong path better go back and start again with the right path going to God. We just need to understand people instead of fighting back or think bad and so on.

well its very nice to be with GOD and have the feeling of it as then we are in a revelling mode and the stress is no more on the head!!

so if you don't know God you're life will become miserable. I'm sorry but thats completely NOT true...I am NOT a believer in God, the bible, etc and my life is NOT miserable by any means..in fact i have a beautiful and happy life. Everyone must thank God.... Everyone must pray to God... Again NOT true..maybe YOU feel you "must" but I dont and alot of others dont...Its great that you have faith in your god, beliefs etc but you (meaning believers in general not you specifically) should realize that there are those of us who arent believers and our lives are also wonderful...Believing in god is NOT necessary for living a good life

Yep its true. You should give thanks to God everyday for all the things He's done. And the best way to do so is to give to someone that does not have, help those in need. I don't mean give money to some organization. I mean on a more personal level. Next time you make some food, or go out to eat, make sure you have enough to give to share with someone else.
