in love-- will you choose what your mind thinks or what your heart feels??

if what you meant by 'mind' was rational thinking then it's almost often that the heart will win. the heart is part of our subconscious mind, which is responsible for pretty much every activity our body does without conscious effort like breathing, heart rate, blinking, dilation of pupils, etc. and if the rational thinking or the conscious part of the mind or simply the conscious mind is put against the subconscious mind, it's almost always the subconscious mind that wins. some experts would even say that the subconscious mind ALWAYS wins so we pretty much don't have a choice. if we choose the mind then it would take us tremendous effort and will-power to resist the heart until we just give in to it.

i think it is more wise to use both. when you're using your heart it means that love is really there. but we all know that there are instances that love makes us fools. during that time it is more advisable to use your mind if the love you have is worth fighting for. you may follow your heart because it would lead you to your happiness but let us remind ourselves that not all the time what our heart wants is rational. we must also take for granted if we are hurting other people because our heart's desire.

No doubt! It's my heart which will decide my fate. If I go with my mind, then I'll first see her status, education,... and I'll definitely ask myself "Should I fall in love? Is this necessary?" But if I go with my heart, then I'll just see if she's good hearted. If yes, then that's it ! There comes the romantic phase of my life!

hi, our mind should rule over our head. anyway emotions are found in our brain...limbic system..our mind should control if what we feel can harm us morally or physicaly..and if we are hurt that much, our heart will say STOP.

i go with both, like if i love and choose that person am i going to have good life with him or if his good enough to be a partner or he have attitude problem that will only create problem. i didnt choose someone only because his rich nor handsome but i go with the whole package even if his not that perfect.
