What do you think? When He uttered from the cross, "It is finished," what was He talking about?

I am thinking, you may need to reread the Good News of Christ friend. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Did Jesus, do away with the Commandments, he says himself, he did not come to do away with the law of Moses(under which the Commandments are), but rather to fulfill them. He slightly altered some, and clarified others for us.
When he Uttered, it is finished. He mean the atonement for our sins, the sacrifice of the pure, for the saving of mankind, that all may be resurrected and live forever upon the earth, is complete.
With appreciation.

I am the second poster, now everyone knows I have what you consider to be the "right" answer. I just relate the scriptures as I have read them.
The end of Mosaic Law, and the beginning of Gods Law. Not nearly as many commandments in Gods Law, except, all of the big ones from Mosaic Law, the Big 10 Still apply....but like I said before...

I'm sure there are some who would dispute me when I say you have the right answer. :)
613 commandments in all; 365 negative + 248 positive. Or is it the other way around? Anyway, I was under the impression that they are all God's commands but were relayed to the children of Israel. No such thing as Mosaic law, in my opinion. Moses was just the messenger.
The way I understand it, we are to keep as many of the commandments as we can, with the exception of the ones referring to the temple in Jerusalem, since that's no longer in existence. Then you have the cultural no-no's, the ones that can't be fulfilled unless you're in the holy land itself. It's kind of hard to put up a sukkoth during the Feast of Booths, for example. I don't know about where you live, but Canada gets pretty chilly in October-November during Sukkot. And, when I say "cultural", I'm pretty sure it's against my country's government to stone someone for adultery. So you catch my drift...

do you know that jesus come to the world to cleanse sin. he come to the world to fullfill his will.when god created adam and eve god give them the authority and marvelous power but they lost it when they began to sin so the demon steal the power.and the devil began to rule over the world.the only way to take back the power is shed the blood of our lord jesus so that man can get forgiveness and deliverence by the precious blood of jesus.when the blood of jesus has been shed to this world the devil has loss it has no power our lord jesus take back all the power from evil and give to those who believe him because that you can see many people drive out demon in the name of jesus and devil will run, people pray to the sickness and the sickness flee way.so the word "it is finished" means the will of our lord has been fullfilled on this earth that is shed his blood.if you have more question feel free to ask to me .thanks
