Who is using Linux?

Just want to know, who is using linux in this forum? what linux distribution do you use?

I have got Kubuntu 9.10 and Ubuntu 9.10. I haven't used them yet though, because my computer is too slow for multi booting I have a Macbook now, and I LOOOVE Macs so much that I would die for them. My friend just got a very effective PC laptop though, and it look cool. I am a bit jealous, but I could never think of buying a PC. I would like to buy a PC and put either Linux or Windows on it, but I just can't. I am such an Apple fan

Yeah, maybe I should... I love Apple over all, but it is a bit too expensive for me too

Maybe you can try Lubuntu, or PCLinuxOS LXDE.. it's very light. Apple product's is very good. I like apple too, but still expensive for me for now. :D

@cidtux : yeah thats right..of course linux is just for advanced user..but if we can use linux and mastered that...we can become a great programing..because in linux no just we learn how to make the OS work correct...we also can learn about programing..sound like so interesting right...My dream is can be a programer...lol(im sorry my grammar so bad ,

i'm not an IT or Computer based graduated. When i was using linux for the first. I don't know anything about Linux. I didn't know Linux it's hard or easy. My First OS aka Windows was very annoying me. "Virus" that never be gone. Because of this i move to linux. Linux hard or easy, depending on what distribution that you use. hi noerarpin, are you from Java?

I stick with Debian/Linux. It's stable. I'm not planning to switch to other distro.

Hey, I am a Linux lover! You can see that from the avatar of mine. I love Linux, I use Linux and I live Linux. I am currently running Kubuntu 9.10 and Ubuntu 9.10. These are the best Linux distributions although there are others . I do not use MAC OS X. Well, I have just used it when my friend had a MAC. I have many Linux based Operating Systems like Moon, Fedora, Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Chrome OS. A correction - mylot is not a forum but a community !

I am using Gentoo Linux 2010, and I am also downloading and trying some new linux live CDs each month. I read in a previous response that you are a PCLinuxOS user. I tried the XFCE version and was impressed by its speed : it seems as fast as Puppy but more secure. Happy Linux-ing and welcome to myLot cidtux.

linux? no i no using linux.. but i have a lot know about linux.. i think linux is so very hard OS to newbie.. linux made for a advanced user.. because there a lot program must edited ourself...

hmmm... yes right, if newbie try a linux distribution like "slackware" or may be "linux from scrath (LFS)" you must build software with configure make and make install.... i'am newbie in linux too... ;-)

I use Ubuntu.I really like, and I've been using it for several month already. Once you get used to it, you don't miss windows even a bit.
