'Cause I'm a teenage average-bodied girl who can consume an enormous amount of rice in one sitting without getting fully full. Lol. Seriously. My friends always ask me why I don't get fat, considering the fact that I eat A LOT of rice. And my habit is that the more the viand tastes good, the more rice I eat. I just love rice. Lol.
How about you?

In my culture, rice is not the main staple food as in other places. We eat bread (made of wheat), potatoes and pasta too.

I think I was just like you when I was younger, but when I grew up a bit, I gained weight. I now only eat one cup of rice, that's enough for me. I don't want to overeat anymore. Before, I always eat like 3 cups in one meal.

Hi jeeyah. I'm exactly like that when I was still in my TEEN age. I eat a lot of rice, especially if the food is so mouth watering. Now that I have a daughter, I really cut my consumption of rice. Before I can consume 2 cups now I limit myself to a half cup of rice. Just to loose weight :))

good thing you don't get fat easily.maybe it's in your genes that we are born to be not get fat easily.i have a few of my friends who were like you.they eat lots of rice but they do not get to fat.about ten years ago,i guess i'm like you.but as years pass by,i really didn't think that i will get fatter the way i am today.maybe it's because i always eat a lot of rice lately because the viand is delicious.and i have more time to eat these days than i did before.sometimes,i also love sinangag rice.much more tasteful than ordinary plain white rice.

Yes, I guess I have fast metabolism so I don't store fats that much. Lol. I LOVE SINANGAG, too! :D It's my favorite, actually. I just love eating it with almost anything. And actually, I'm afraid that I'm gonna get fat already. I'm starting to gain a little weight, but I really can't control my diet. Lol

Hi jeeyah, I am an Asian and rice is our staple food. I take rice as my two daily meals. I feel my stomach is still empty if I don't take rice at least in one of my meals. I love rice very much. It's so yummy to eat rice together with tasty dishes. I have extremely good appetite if having rice with curry served. All spicy curries are yummy
I usually consume two cups of plain rice in every meal. I can eat more than that if chicken and potato curry is served on the dinner table. I don't put on weight as well even I have that much rice daily. May be this is because I have regular physical exercise all the time. Almost all of my friends take less than a cup of rice in their one meal
Happy posting

As long as there is something to go with the rice, I can eat heaps and heaps of it too!! I don't gain weight, but I do have to watch out with diabetes. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my 2nd child - and I couldn't eat that much rice during that time. Do you know how much that killed me? Hee hee. Too much rice in the diet is not good for anyone . . . but it sure tastes good, doesn't it?

i think the explanation to that is your type of body is ectomorph, you have fast metabolism so you ain't getting fluppy even you eat more rice in one setting, but even though you'll still be susceptable to diabities at your age, but if rice is your thing, i rather suggest to switch to organic rice like red or brown rice...happy eating!!
