personally, I can't stand "leaches". these are the persons who stick to you and are like "oh, I love you so much! oh you are my best friend! can I have your jacket? can I stay at your place for 2 week? feed me while I'm staying at your place", etc. I cannot stand being anyone's doormat. I will always help someone in need, but I will not let anyone live off my back

I think I attract leaches because of my own inability to say "no" to someone who says they need something..more then not I say "yes" even to the leach who keeps coming back for more because I feel so sorry for them.+

I have been told that I have the word "sucker" written all over my forehead and that is why attract so many leaches..I think it's because I am nice and was taught to give to them that asks when I was little

For me it would be selfishness. I just can't stand people who are all about themselves. They have nothing better to say other than to judge others. These are the people who cheat,bribe,lie and criticize other to get benefit for themselves.

I agree that people who ar selfish are really hard to bear with..since they are always about "me" and never about you..
I would say it takes an "unselfish" person to befriend a "selfish" person in an attempt to lead them on the right path.;)+

You are correct, how can one be friends with a selfish person? Even an unselfish person would have a time in changing them. As for as i am concerned i distance myself from these people. We should put selfish people on an island and see if they can survive. lol

Well since I believe there is an ounce of goodness even in the worst of people, I dont think I would put them on an island..I would focus on their good point and maybe help them to do this as well. Perhaps from changing their focus they will go from ego centric to generous;)+

I agree who wants to be around someone who has crowned themeselves king/queen of the universe..Everyone has to listen foreve to all their accomplishments and bow to their every word.

you are right both of those are truly ugly characteristics in a person..Let us pray for the patience to deal with both types because just as we like those qualities in them, they find qualities they dislike in us..We will help them by our patience:)+

There are several things I cannot stand in a person: liing, cheating, boasting/bragging, selfishness, and I really don't like when a person says they will do something and they never do it! All of those just drive me crazy and I don't like to be around ppl that are like that.

I agree with response #3! I can't stand people who befriend you, ask for money, ask for gifts,put you down ect. I have had a problem lending people money who I thought were my best friends or (loved) boyfriends. I've never been paid back once, and once I gave nice gifts and exfriend demanded more while she gave me little. Another thing I can't stand is people who pretend to be your friend and talks behind your back. I can't stand putting puting you down .

I agree..pretending to be a friend and talking behind your back is such an awful thing to do..better to not be someone's friend if you are going to talk about them when they are not around to defend themselves;)

Selfishness and hypocrisy! Say one thing..do something else and think only about yourself! That's one of the worst things a person can do. I know people who grumble about others and do the same thing themselves! It irritates me no end!

Well I see so many bad qualities in myself that its wrong of me to say something about someone in the same area....but for one thing I hate the smoking habit of a person...Its not only harmful to them...but also afffect us passive smokers....

i cant stand people who pretend to be the sweetest and innocent people on earth when they are scheming the most devlish plans inside(like how can i get her boyfriend to notice me and go out with me) and are lookin at what u and your boyfrind do from the corner of their eyes and wishing that they were in my place insead!! i think they are the worst kind of people!!!and i also hate it when they copy everything u try to do......i just can't stand them!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I'd have to agree with that and the other thing I can't stand is people with no manners, and people who don't to apoligize when they do something that hurts someone.
