How do you measure success?

For me, In measuring success I always go back to Maslow's hierarchy of need. The only moment that I can call myself successful is when I reach the top of Maslow's pyramid which is of course "Self-Actualization" -- being self actualized!!

I agree, yes everyone has a definition of success. For me success does not only mean wealth and fame, it is more than that. Success, is the satisfaction and contented of what you have. It may not be wealth nor fame but the feeling that you don't need anything anymore in your life. You may not be rich but you can be successful. Like having a great famiy, some says they don't have much wealth in life as long as they have great family.

success is varied from person to person. it is culturally rooted. in my case, my success will be measured if i have my family together, living comfortably and not worrying of basic necessities and able to pursue what makes me alive and enjoy. my success is shared with my family. i won't be successful if they can not share in my success.

Success is the most dream t thing by every one.And to achieve this dream every one who wants to succeed works hard.And once succeeded on a project or something,the happiness k news no bounds.Sometimes it is indescribable. I measure success with the scale of my heart.

Success cant be measured. It can only be enjoyed as it is a feeling which gives us immense pleasure if we get success in our task.

I think a succesful man or woman has a harmonious family,enough but not too much money,a good job which make him or her feels a growing feeling of accomplishment,many good friends. I so hope one day I can be a such person.

I can say that I'm successfulin life if I've achieved what I want my child to be. I'm not the type who measures my success on things and money, but on what I've done in my life. If I raise my child well and have a healthy realtionship with my family and friends, I could therefore conclude that I am successful in life :)

Although many people think that the success is mean to be get rich, and the happiness should be based on money, i think not. i thought if i could truly understand who am i and satisfy with what i already got not what i don't, and do my best to help those who really in need, that is the greatest success to me.
