Both of Gissi's Girlfriends Molly nd Bonnie, are in season, trust them to be both at the same time lol
Now they all run together on the Field no Lead on
Gissi is not attempting anything with either one of the Girls
Now when we had Cookie staying and she was in Season, it was horrific trying to keep little Gissi of large Cookie it used to be a case of........Gissi get of........Gissi leave Cookie alone....Gissi noooooooooooooo...... and so on
But with these 2 Girls he is not trying anything
Now all I can think of is that it is because they have only just come into season
But even when Cookie had only just started he was totally hyper and kept us on our toes chasing him of Cookie, once I even put a nappy on Cookie and the little Devil ripped it of her, we got the Spray that is suppose to keep Male Dogs away when the Females are in Seson, but not Gissi oh no he was there from Day 1 till the end of it, by the Time Cookie had finished we where shattered and had sore throats
The good thing was once Cookie had finished I managed to get sleep again, as the little Devil used to keep me awake trying to get out of my Bedroom into my Son's Bedroom to Cookie
So now he is totally confusing me
Can think of why?

You know I've been around dogs in heat all my life and I have seen a few male dogs not seem to care.
Still Gissi is a male and he has "responded" before so why not now?
I have not a clue!
The only thing I can think of is Gissi is on medication is he not?
Maybe that is the problem. I does happen to human men-----
I guess just don't worry bout it LOL
Let the little man play!!!
Many hugs tho:)

Maybe they're not his type? Maybe he just likes the big gals.
It may be that he's not feeling up to it. I can't think of any other reason. Dogs never seem to be choosy about who they bestow their ardent affections on.
I remember having two dogs awhile back, a male and a female. She hated him... until... Then, I was always hearing 'thump thump'..... 'thump thump'.... 'thump thump'. I had no idea what was making that sound so I investigated. The male was maybe a foot shorter than the female and he was trying his darnedest to satisfy both his urge and hers by jumping as high as he could, then coming down on his hind legs, making that 'thump thump' sound. I almost peed in my pants laughing so hard!
Maybe Gissi just doesn't feel up to it, although I always though that men would be up to the challenge even if they were on their deathbed. Maybe that just applies to humans, though.

Well, maybe Molly and Bonnie are just not Gissi´s type, lol.
Maybe only Cookie really gets him going. He´s choosy, what do you think?
Come on gabs, after all not ALL men jump on EVERY woman that comes across them.
Imagine that Gissi went for every female the amount of work you would have trying to keep him off...
Hugs and love to you

I wonder if Gissi has realised that he's behaving like a perfect little gentleman with his friends - lol. Perhaps he has learnt, however, that he is likely to be told off if he tries anything funny, so he's keeping his distance.

He may not fancy them ‘in that way’ (LOL)! I would be vigilant though because you never know when he may change his mind and pounce on either of them! My dog Cassie has been ‘fixed’ so we don’t have these hassles, it’s a lot easier! I hope things settle down so you can relax again!

Maybe he doesn't fancy them in an amorous way. I think you should be please because with Gissi's heart problem that type of physical exercise may not be good for him. Human's with heart trouble has to be careful about too much hankie-pankie so I would think it's the same for dogs.(LOL)

I would say that it might be because he knows he is not feeling well and with his breathing problems being worse...well mom he just can't do like he use to. He may know his limitations. The little ones are much smarter than some people give them credit for.
He will get in the groove if he is up to it when he is ready. Try not to worry about this one issue.

Hey Gaby,
The girls are so cute. They'd make adorable Gissi puppies. Here's my thought on the subject. Maybe the girls are already pregnant! Maybe Gissi has already had his way with them. Or heaven forbid, someone else has. It is possible that they are just friends. lolOh well, only they know for sure.
Hugs

Hey gabs! I can't help you with this one! I don't know anything
about doggys! I have enough trouble with Star and Luna! Luna
is still doing "humpty dumptys" on Star! I was trying to talk
to my Mom today on the phone and Luna was trying to mount Star
and I kept yelling at him to get off his brother! My Mom was
getting mad at me and told me to hit Luna, like I would ever
do that! I know it has to do with the male dominance thing,
but don't understand it! They were both neutered early and
are brothers! Damn! So, I can't help you with Gissi and the
girls! At least they are girls?lol

Hi Gabs...I would say it;s his natural instincts kicking in. He has been unwell and such activity is possibly likely to increase his heart rate which would be unsafe for him. It could be his medication too...doesn't it calm him down? Maybe the calming part affects his function as a male stud dog. I wouldn't be too worried...he is just looking after himself.

With Bonnie and Molly, he has a friendship rather than a romantic relationship. Gissi likes to socialize and be seen with the girls. It is a status thing.
