I have a NEW computer!!!

It is a $200 acer revo, 900 mgs of RAM, 150 gigs of hard drive, and 1 gigahertz Intel chip.
It was $199 and with the roomie's reward's program I got 6 months of Geek Squad free (a $20 value.) All together it was under $220!!!
Its working faster and I'm so happy!
Got a new printer/scanner/copier too, and cleared off space to put it on the desk.
Now, the "grunt" work of down loading all the stuff I need to be "happy", you know, itunes, a few more web browsers and AIM!
I may not be doing all I need to do this weekend here, but soon - ZOOM! I'll be faster than LIGHTENING!
I'm HAPPY to be able to stay ON LINE for more than 10 minutes!!!

That's great. I can't wait till we can save $$$ to get a new one. I need a new PC and my husband wants to upgrade or buy a new laptop. We both know what we want, we just have to save the money. That is the hard part.

That is excellent! I wish I could afford to get a digital camera right now and in a few years, a new computer. Not that long ago, my husband bought a printer/scanner/copier-love that thing, love it!

Good news Eilic! No wonder you’re doing the happy dance! Isn’t it great to get a new computer? When my husband bought me a new laptop after years with a dinosaur computer that continually froze on me and was as slow as a wet weekend I felt like I had a new lease of life! It took a while to set it up the way I liked it and it was worth the time. Congratulations! Enjoy!!!

Good for you!! I got a new laptop a few months back and did my own happy dance. It's so nice that the prices have down so much that we can get speedier downloads for a reasonable price. Don't forget to set up your virus software or have one of the geeks do it for you! Take care!!

wow that great i'm happy for you. hope you have take cafe for your computer. this price is very affordable and its very very sale. unlike my computer i'll buy that 28,000 pesos. last year. you install windows 7 transformation this is the best windows.

That's great!!
My hubby always just orders new parts and puts them in himself (mother board, memory, etc.) But he says we've reached a point where it may not be possible with what we have now to add anything new.
Next upgrade may have to be a new or refurbished computer.1 person likes this

I'm so happy for you!!! Newer, faster, better. Buying a new computer is like Christmas morning, isn't it? Even if we buy them for ourselves, there's still something so special about opening that box and setting up the new computer.
It's a pain trying to get everything we want one the new computer but it's soooo worth it. I just recently got a netbook and I adore it! I have a desktop that I use occasionally but I'm almost always on the netbook. I had a laptop that's pretty much on it's last legs but it's still useful so I gave it to my son. This netbook is so much lighter than the laptop. It makes it much easier for me to carry around. AND, I've been thinking about taking it out on my boat when I go fishing on the lake. I can hook it up to my cell phone for internet connection, put my line in the water, sit back and get my myLotting fix at the same time. How cool is that???
Anyway, I'll be waiting to see how fast your typing is now that you have your brand new, just out of the box, ultra cool computer. And what a GREAT price!!!
I hope you'll be doing the happy dance for a looooooong time.

memo! That is an incredible deal! Wow! I'm impressed to say the
least! We don't get the Geek Squad here for that price! And, all
that bundle that you got with all that power! I might have to
make a trip down just to pick up a new computer myself! I already
have a new HP printer/scanner/copier, which I can't figure out
how to use yet I can understand just how happy you are! So,

Congradus. you sound very happy. I wished I could get a new computer too. lol but I am content with what I have for now. I can't afford anything new unless it breaks down. but maybe I will get someting new and upgraded sometime in the future.
