Guys and Gals
Some serious stuff I have got for all you guys. Are you guys worried about paying your college and tuition fee for getting some knowledge? Here is a totally free e-school which is just teaching by YouTube videos. The teacher is a Harvard University graduate who resigned his job to impart education to everyone in the world for free!!
He has done a large number of videos right from Basic Addition to Vectorial Multiplication to Calculus!! He has also done videos about many subjects like Economics, Biology, Chemistry!!
Truly a great man - yes, he is doing it single handedly!!! His name is Salman Khan [Sal] - not the Indian actor!!!
Another Good thing is that his videos are getting views from countries in Latin America, Somalia, Uganda, Ethiopia and some other downtrodden countries of the world.
See Mr.Sal's website with endless videos - http://khanacademy.org
His YouTube Page - http://youtube.com/user/khanacademy

What a wonderful idea Mr. Khan has developed here. This is definitely a step in the right direction because I don't feel that it is right that people only be allowed to have an education when they have money. There are many people in this world that are intelligent enough to become something great in their lives but they never have the opportunity to achieve these things because they don't have the money to get the degree that is required for the career. The next step that can be made in the right direction would be to establish a way that people can actually get their degree for free.

Its truly wonderful what technology can do. With this, many people from all over the world will surely learn and understand. The great thing is you can see it at the comfort of your home and at anytime. Well, Mr. Sal, keep up the great work.

That's one thing I absolutely love about youtube, the fact that you get professionals on there offering their services for free and it's truly a wonderful thing! Not everyone can afford a college education so I think this is really a gift from above and enables those that want to learn to really move forward and do something positive for themselves. I use youtube myself for all different kinds of things that I want to know about, chances are someone has created a video tutorial for exactly what you are looking for. I watch a lot of the IT tutorial videos as I'm really into computers and all things IT. I hope that videos on youtube will always be free to watch as it makes a real difference in the lives of others! Andrew

Wow that is good news. I think there are a lot of educational videos in Youtube. I watched a show called "Pilipinas Got Talent" (a version of Americas Got Talent) and a child auditioned there and he would be playing an electronic guitar. Asked by a judge where did he learn to play electronic guitar he answered from his dad and Youtube. It was because probably his dad was not familiar with the electric guitar so he had to watch some videos too on Youtube.

Hi friend,
This is a very interesting anouncement. I´ll check it today. I´m interested in many subjects but each time I use more the computer and skip books. We are in the computer age, it seems, although I´m a writer in my own language.

Sounds great! If such a remote education can exist in a long time, those who have not been admitted to university or college also have a chance to receive higher education.Although the quality of such a self-education varies from person to person, Salman Khan's bahavior would be appreciated absolutely

Hi Kar,
I did not know this site. Some subjects are complete, like linear algebra. History is only French, around the Revolution, with a theme not treated in French schools : the Haitian Revolution.
It's a good idea and a good site.
Thank you for sharing this link.
