Trini Lopez, the famous singer of the 60`s from Mexico was well known for his friendly and unique style of singing and strumming of his guitar. His songs "America", "If i had a Hammer", "Lemon Tree", "La Bamba" and many others were super hits all over the world. He had style in his presentation and used to carry the audience with him exhorting them to clap and sing along with him. He also had acted in the Lee Marvin movie "The Dirty Dozen" in which he had sung the title song as well as Lemon Tree, the song that catapulted him to fame.

Hi vijay Oh yes - very much so - and not only that I also have those recorded on a disc along with old contemporaries like Frank Sinatra, Jim reeves, cliff Richards, Nat king Cole, Perry Como, Sammy Davis Jr, Pat Boone,Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdink, even females like Connie Francis& Joan Baez,........etc etc etc I think this is too small a space to write all singers' names - but you and I have and have had the same likings and by the way I feel that no one makes such titillating music and lyrics anymore.
