Hello mylotters, In our family we used the same brand of quality toothbrush, and to distinguish or own toothbrush, we buy different colors, so we know who is using blue, or pink or yellow, or green. My question is, Does everyone in your family use a different color toothbrush? Thanks for reading! Have a nice day! ^_^

In my family we don't use different color toothbrushes. The reason is very simple. My mother buys stuff we need including toothbrushes in the supermarket, so she often chooses the same color and types. For we put our toothbrushes in different cups, it's easy to distinguish others from ours.

Sorry for a mistake in the last sentence: it's easy to distinguish others from mine.

For us it isn't a matter of the color of toothbrush that we use, but rather the brand of toothbrush that we use. I like to use the Reach toothbrushes so that is typically what I have. My husband uses just cheap, but soft headed toothbrushes and the kids typically have character toothbrushes that they use. We have never had any kind of an issue with distinguishing which toothbrush belonged to whom in our house.

My children have special one's which their favourite characters, so there's are very easy to avoid and both myself + my Wife have different colours. My father use's the same colour as me, which is awkward when we're on holiday as we share a caravan and he tends to use mine so I always end up buying a replacement which is different to his, as I really dislike when people use the things personal to me.

Hi, karlle. Yes, pretty much, my family does use a different color toothbrush. We all don't want to get mixed up with using the same color of toothbrush. We all have toothbrush holders to keep our toothbrush in. That allows us to keep up with our own toothbrush. If we do, have the same color as each other, the toothbrush will not look the same. It will look different somewhat. That way, no one will mistakenly use any one else toothbrush.

I have 4 kids that are very close in age and they all have different color toothb rushes. I take them all to the dentist at the same time and they give them each a different color and when we buy new ones they all have to pick a different color. It makes it easier to be able to tell them apart. My husband and I have different colors, as well.

We have two different bathrooms. One for my husband and I and the other for our children. So, my husband and I use different colored toothbrushes. Our two sons also use different colored toothbrushes, but since we have different bathrooms, we can use the same colors in both bathrooms. It is hard because everyone in our family likes blue. Everybody argues over who gets the blue toothbrushes. It is actually quite comical to argue over the color of a toothbrush!

Yeah we do have different colors of toothbrush... but it's just coincidence, since we did't buy the brushes together at the same time. Mine always has a girly design, with white, pink or red colors...

There's no less fortunate of a way to start the day than to be using someone else's toothbrush. That's why every member of my family has a different color toothbrush to use. No mistakes! Everyone deserves to know where their toothbrush has been.

I live alone right now, but when I had other people living with me everyone had a different color toothbrush. I don't know how else you could determine who it belonged to. I would hate to think I might be using someone else's.

To me color does not matter, because after use I tuck it away at a safe place after use. I don't allow it to mix with other tooth brushes. I will never leave it in the toilet where it can easily catch germs. I like to promote sound hygienic practices. It is a way to look after your own health.

Yes of course , if we don`t use toothbrush with different colors it`s not good for our hygiene because we can brush our own teeths with the brush of somebody else which i think is disgusting ..

We all have different brands of toothbrushes so there's no need for different colors for everyone.

We do, just so we know who should be using what toothbrush. I think it is the easiest way.

All the people in my family use toothbrushes of different colours to distinguish our own toothbrush. This is mainly for personal hygiene.

Hello karlle, for me it's very unhygienic if members of your family use the same toothbrush. It's yucky of course. We use different toothbrush and because my husband is color blind his is darker in color. For my daughter and me, pink and violet; for my son - green and for my husband - blue.

Haha! This is something that we really struggle to do... you see, I am from a very large family, and we try to each have our own color toothbrush, but even with using multiple brands sometimes that is hard. Interesting discussion you started here. :)
