Hi all,
Just wondering if you can share your weight loss tips on here. I have a couple:
1. If you're feeling hungry but ate a short time ago, drink some water. Sometimes we can have thirst signals mistaken for hunger signals.
2. Drink some warm tea or soup broth about half an hour before you eat. It will make you feel more full, and you won't overeat.
Cheers!

My weight loss tips are, eat smaller portions using a smaller plate. Eat three meals a day. Don't eat after 8:00pm. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies. Drink green tea either hot or cold. The last tip is walk everyday or if possible take 10,000 steps a day. After a few months of doing all the above everyday you will see the difference.

Simply put just stay active. The more active you are the more healthy you'll become lying around being lazy isn't going to help you in the long run, so despite how well you eat or how much, your body won't properally process the food and you won't like the results your body is giving you.

Its proven effective for me, I'm eating a cup of rice at lunch and at dinner i ate half cup of rice and eating more oatmeals. Exercise can help too: do sit-ups and taeboo, it will make you lean.

I am a true believer that you get what you think and feel and talk about. So the best improvements in my weight have come about by changing my thoughts. I keep picturing myself ( body size) as the way I want it and not focus on the way it is now. I list positive aspects about the rest of my body and stay as positive as I can. When I eat anything I think of it as perfect nourishment for my body and never think of anything I eat as bad or fattening. This has really worked and I learned this from all the info I learned about the Law of Attraction by authors, Ester and Jerry Hicks. It has been life changing to know you can have, be or do all that you desire and it all comes by what your are thinking and feeling.
I did test this. I am competing with two daughters ages 20 and 24. I am doing the Law of Attraction and they are doing diet and exercise. I am doing really well with 8 lbs gone and 2 inces off my waist that has all happened in April. The girls are no longer sharing their results with me and seem to not be doing their diets.
AND I eat what I want when I want. I never think of anything as fattening when I do eat it. I hope this helps. The only proof is trying it out yourself. Either way whatever works best with you, I wish you great success in your weight loss.
Have a great day!

My weight loss tip is not to stress too much. Stressing makes us go on an eating binge or makes us retain water. I have noticed that ever since I quit from my stressful night job, I have lost ten pounds. I know its a small amount of weight to lose, but still I lost pounds just by eliminating the stress in my life.

Losing weight is a hard work that needs dedication. I have seen friends tried to loss weight. Some have great results while others are not. I haven't needed to loss weight as I'm always been thin/petite. My problem is how to gain weight. Anyways my friends top weight loss regime is exercise, eat more than 3 times a day in small quantity and the most important is the dedication in your goal.

I suggest that you try and keep a food journal. i exercised like crazy for about two weeks and was not losing any weight, when I wrote down what I ate on a daily basis I realized I was eating more calories than I burned, which was really bad.

I gained weight since I got pregnant and I am planning to reduce my weight after i gave birth. I want my normal boy to be back again because i am afraid that my clothes wont fit with me anymore. Discipline is the must have when you are planning to have a diet. You should have a goal in reducing your weight and you should motivate your self. Limit your juices and soft drinks intake. Drinks water instead because it is tasteless and can help you reduce your weight.

You can't lose weight abruptly, it takes time and really hard effort to control your cravings especially with what you said- oily, delicious and spicy junk foods. You might want to try by drinking water with lemon in it,early in the morning,in empty stomach. Some other methods may be eating a fat less meal, eating a lots of citrus friuts or by avoiding chocolates and junk food.... Practicing yoga or other free hand exercises regularly is a must.
Its better to consult a dietitian as taking of less foods may lead to sudden loss of appetite which may prove to be harmful.

Eat eggs every morning. It'll make you eat less during the day. Drink water before you eat lunch or dinner. This'll give you an feel of being full already so you won't get a round two platter.

I think the best diet to follow is South Beach as it teaches to change your lifestyle. Choose good fats and good carbs instead of avoiding all of them altogether.
- stop eating white rice, replace with brown or red rice.\
- stop eating white flour bread, start eating whole grain bread.
- avoid drinking soda and pre-packaged fruit juice. Just eat a lot of fruit.
- increase protein intake

hi, i have a few tips that might interest you. one:follow a strict diet, breakfast that of a millionaire, lunch that of a middle class man, and dinner that of a poor man. try replacing a oily snack or junk food with vegetables or fruits. two:don't eat between meals, drink some water or some fruit juice when you get too hungry in between meals.

My weight loss tips would be to eat your vegetables and exercise. About 10-20 percent of Americans are obese, so it is hard to lose weight and stay at that very same weight (give or take 3 pounds). Basically, what you do is keep your rations at a minimum. I'm not saying stop eating, but eat smaller portions, like maybe 1/2 of a sandwich or 1/2 cup of milk. I prefer to drink half of a gallon of water per day, but they recommend 8 glasses of water per day. Also, try to cut down on your calorie intake. For example, if you eat 2,500 calories in one day, and you want to lose weight, then eat only 1,200-1,500 calories per day. Also, try eating vegetables with your food. Lots of salad is very good, because the greener the salad is, the better. Eat apples or broccoli. Try to exercise, like jogging for 10 minutes if you've just started exercising, 20-25 minutes if you are an intermediate, and 30+ minutes if you are accustomed to exercising, but that takes a lot of effort. It not only helps you to lose weight, but also increases your chance of leading a healthy life in the future. Oh, and one more thing. Don't overdo exercises, because that could hurt your muscles and your health. Don't eat too little, and be patient. Losing weight takes time and effort. Losing weight doesn't happen overnight, you know.
Have a safe and wonderful way of life.
