Hello bodnath, welcome to mylot. You can give an antihistamine pill to your wife. It's too dangerous if she keep on having an allergy, cause sometimes it may lead to anaphylactic shock. I guess you wife need to be careful in her seafood intake just like my sister she avoided eating shrimps, crabs, lobsters will cause her terrible allergic reaction. But if your insist or really loves to eat seafoods, take an antihistamine pill 30 minutes before taking a seafood meals.
Some home remedies let her take a spoonful of sugar and drink a glassful of water and observe any further allergic reaction. If it gets worse, better bring her to ER immediately.

Avoid seafood, keep antihistamines on hand just in case, and be prepared to rush her to the hospital if she has breathing problems.
