I haven't tasted durian all my life. They say that it tastes so good but everytime I see them in the supermarket or at the fruit stand, I can't stand the smell...it's so yucky! I don't think I can eat it...I might vomit.

hi! junrapmian, it's all on your mind that smell is bad...why don't you try eating durian. I'll assure you once you tasted it, you realized that you missed it for so long, you will regret why is it only now you had found the truth...actually, you can't smell it when you are eating, as if nothing, no smell at all... you will be used to it...and you will for more...

I like durian! At first, yes, i didn't like the smell of it. When I went to Davao, Philippines, I get to taste it and i love its little sweet and creamy taste. I love it also when it is refrigerated, it tasted like ice cream when cold. I do not often eat it because it is kind of expensive here in our province. But i would love to go to Davao again so that i can eat durian there, it is cheap there. =)

Hello adeena, I love durian fruit. Some people don't like durian because of its pungent odor but I think once they tasted its milky taste they will definitely say its yummy.
There are lots of benefits you can get from the fruit other than the vitamins. Make sure than you don't eat more than enough cause it will surely rise up high your blood pressure, so those people who have hypertension should be aware of it.
There are several ways you can make out of durian, like jam, candies, ice cream, even cake and what I love most the durian tart and pie. I love durian milk too.
For latest info, there's a study that the durian milk been introduced to dengue hemorraghic patients due to its benefit.
Some tip, after eating durian don't throw the pulp yet, tricky thing put a water in the pulp and wash your hands with the water from it, viola the smell in your hands not that smelly at all.
Happy mylotting.
