Study is not the only important things in life. But it's important for life. We should study to gain knowledge and become educated.
I am a medical student. To be a doctor i need to study then i can help people when they will be sick. Without study we can't know the processing.
So you should realize the important of study then you can study well.

We should study in order to learn. Anyway I know every student also feel that way especially when you don't like the things being studied.
Studying is not the "only" important in one's life
there are many things out there that are also important; it is just a matter of appreciation you know :D

We study because it will definately benefit us in the future. If you are not interested in study, you should sit down and think about what you could do with a cert and what you could do without a cert. From there, you will definately see the difference and know why studying is important. In the current world, without a degree could not bring you far,and so if you want to earn enough money to afford for ur expenses, family or things that you want to own,you should start studying hard. You can say to be 'investing your future' by studying hard now,if you study hard, this 'stock' will definately earn you alot of money, but if you do not, this stock would only led you debts.

Yes study is important in life specially in this modern age.But if you not like ti study then try to remain atleast in average students don't carried away if someone tell you on mylot that goes with your interest.Study is power of knowledge. If you are in school now then don't worry you will have options in college to choose your favorite subjects. When that time comes then you choose best subject of your interest and stick with that.Remember it could be music, sports or other literature subject.

Yes, it is extremely important if wanting any higher ranked job than a garbage guy (or something close to that)
I am one of those who want to be a diploma engineer, and it is not a piece of cake to study for that. My mother did it, but she was always good at school, and I have to say that I ain't that good...
Remember to study hard people

No, I want to be a diploma engineer. That is a really high education.
Did you think that I got a diploma in engineering? No, no, no. I suck at engineering (I have opened my PS3, and fixed it myself though) Lol
I don't want to be disrespecting, but I just ROFLED at your comment, because a diploma engineer is one of the highest educations in our country at least (Finland), and I can tell you that we are quite well educated here. You can look at the PISA examinations for example. I know that there are Harvards and stuff in the USA, but I think that the diploma engineer is the highest education in Finland.

everyday is a learning process... we always study and learned in our everyday existence. Study from school, earning diploma is very important although it is just a piece of paper, but what is important is what you have learned and how you are going to use that in your job or business. Though diploma is just a piece of paper but its importance is priceless because it is the proof of your credibility.

I think the answer here is pretty obvious. Of course there are people who could argue that those big shots rich people didn't even make it out of highschool but those people are generally the exceptions and not the case. We are, unfortunately the common cases, we need that extra edge to compete with others in the market.
I myself am studying to be an engineer and I could always say that those people who have the knowledge and never stop learning are very happy. They understand how the world goes and people go to them when they need something to be done or invented. But then again, usually those phd holders in my university are a bit eccentric haha
