the first birthday

as a parent, do we really need to celebrate the first birthday of your child? is that one way we show our love? I think every parents wish to do that. even though the child is innocent about the event. what about you, what's the best birthday gift you've given to your child?

i am not yet a mother neither a wife..but i think it is important to celebrate the first birthday of your baby..because it is also a celebration of how you carry your child from your your womb til her/his first year..as a mother it is your happiness to see you baby to its first birthday.. your new life...

I believe if it is the parents self-satisfaction to see or celebrate their child's first birthday, but when the child, it's her time to feel the joy of celebrating it.

I still don't have a child but i think it is necessary to celebrate your child's first birthday cuz he just started the first year of his life.

Whether you celebrate the first birthday of the child or not is a decision that is purely personal. It is not that parents do not have love just because the birthday is not celebrated. Moreover it is the child's acknowledgement you need. You need him to know that you love him. And I dont think this is a good way to do that as he doesn't even know what is happening. I think there are better ways to do this.
