Well, if you have been directly here to myLot without checking out Google today - you have made the biggest blunder !!
Today is the 20th birthday of the Hubble Space Telescope in NASA Observatory!

You have to see that for sure - it is simply awesome.
For people who do not know about Hubble Space Telescope:
[i]The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit by the space shuttle in April 1990. It is named after the American astronomer Edwin Hubble. Although not the first space telescope, Hubble is one of the largest and most versatile, and is well-known as both a vital research tool and a public relations boon for astronomy. The HST is a collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency, and is one of NASA's Great Observatories, along with the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, the Chandra X-ray Observatory, and the Spitzer Space Telescope.

The things that Hubble has showed us over the last 20 years have been truly phenomenal. I was a child when the telescope was first sent up, so I didn't really think about that so much at the time. However, now that I am an adult and have a lot more respect for the word around me, I am able to see that the launching of the Hubble Space Telescope has left a lot of things that once were unknown to us. The pictures that we have been able to see are something that we would have never expected.

This is cool. I wanna have one of these bad boys. I wonder how long did it take for them to invent this.
