Do I get limited if I verify it now? Coz I registered December last year and until now I still haven't verify it... I plan to verify it now using my Odesk debit card...
And also when I registered in Paypal, I'm in my friends house using my laptop... Now I'm back here in our house I'm still using my laptop but in a different IP address... Do I get limited also from having different IP address???
Please help me clear this out myLotters!!!

Paypal can be really tricky. Some people have very good experiences using Paypal. Some were very unlucky to have had their accounts banned and with their money frozen too. It's all about how the person uses the account. If the user is careful and not do anything that would cause Paypal to think that security is being threatened then the user will have no problem.
In your case, you can get your account verified with no problem whatsoever. Just next time, play it safe and access your account at home and only when you are home. Some mylot members said you can access your account anywhere, you actually don't want to do that. I know some people whose account got banned for opening their Paypal account in an Internet cafe and I know another person who got banned for accessing his account while out on vacation in another country.

That's what I plan to do... Since I have my own laptop and internet connection...So I could access my account anytime I want to and not into any internet shops...

Hi portisray,
I open my paypal account a few years back and I only verified it last month. After verified our paypal, there is no more limit for it.
It does not matter where you open your account or what is your IP address you used. It is only for security reason that we use our own computer and internet line when we want to do any transactions.
It would be a problem when you move to other country and want your money in other currency then your original currency of your register country. You would be required to send a lot of identity prove before they allowed you to do so (if they ever allow you to do so)..

Even you used different Ip you can still verify it. There's no problem about IP as long as you won't make doubt transaction with paypal. I verify my account in different IP because I don't have Internet in the house. I open it in one of Internet cafe in our place. As of the moment my account still okay.

Aha! So you open your Paypal account in an internet cafe in your place... and your account is still okay... So I guess I won't be bothered now about my Paypal unverified account... Thanks for telling me that!

They will lift limit of your account if you attach debit or credit card to it.I havent till date and my limit is 500 dollar monthly which more than enough to me.SO i havent attached credit or debit card to it till date. There is one plus point in attaching credit or debit card and that is you can import money from your bank account which they dont allow otherwise.Atlist not in India.

Varifying your account actually lifts a lot of limits and restrictions and opens you up to other things pay pal has to offer should you need them. For example I have a pay pal debit card that allows me to pay for things directly through my paypal without having to tap into my checking account. Provided of course I have enough money in my pay pal account. Which I do for small things.
As you obviously know unvarfied you can still use paypal, but you have less restrictions.

Yes you can still verify it.Even if it takes you years before you decide to verify it's ok.Your IP Address doesn't matter. My paypal is verify and all is O.K!
Success!
