ABS-CBN or GMA7?

i like GMA more.They are not bias and their shows are more child-friendly.

I am a certified Kapamilya... Their Primetime Bida teleserye mostly in drama but with a well-constructed story and makes sense. Unlike Kapuso, mostly fantaserye that is too corny to watch! Koreanovelas or Taiwan novelas like Meteor Garden started in ABS-CBN. GMA 7 copycat mostly koreanovelas too... As far as I can see, there are more bankable actors and actresses in ABS-CBN. Mostly they can act really well. They were the new generation of actors that they can last for decades... I have a friend who mostly watch Kapuso programs that's why I can watch sometimes in channel 7 and I can compare them both TV stations.. And that I observed its still Channel is the best. Wowowee has a lot of drama and comedy and has a lot of audience participation and you can meet (even just only in TV) different people in all walks of life. Compared to Eat Bulaga that mostly all the hosts talks all the time. Well, what else? Oh! There's a lot to talk about and compare both TV stations but for me I am a certified Kapamilya...

both are good. i would say ABS is richer and is more successful but GMA also has lots of good shows. i like both. for me both are equally good. there are some things i like on GMA that ABS doesn't have and vice versa. i don't like ABS for having too much drama series and i don't like GMA for having too much fantaseryes.

abs cbn is still teh best for me

abs cbn is the number one television station even abroad, the TFC subscriber patronizing the abs cbn shows than with the GMA plus the artist of Channel 2 are popular

My wife does most of the watching while I immerse myself on the net. She always tune in to ABS-CBN mainly because of PBB and their soaps. I only watch news on ABS-CBN and on teleradyo and nothing else.

I don't know, I don't watch much TV... But in my house, there's this belief that GMA is better when it comes to news, and unbiased reporting because they have less sponsors to protect (unlike ABS) but ABS-CBN has better production values, lighting and individual acting, so it's ABS-CBN for entertainment. I don't actually know if it's true, but that's how it is at home. GMA for the news, ABS for the entertainment. Me, I usually go for cable (or the internet, hehe).

I prefer ABS-CBN. GMA tends to be corny at times compared to ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN has a lot of good shows. But when it comes to documentaries and news, GMA is better.

I'm into GMA, but the rest of the family members are like ABS-CBN, that's why we always quarrel when the other one switches the channel to another. Anyway, I'm a certified Kapuso since grade school. I was a big fan of their animes every night then and then later on I was fascinated by the rest of their shows. I also watch shows in ABS but I don't 'idolize' them, not the way I do with GMA's. It's all a matter of preference. We view things at a different perspectives. What's important is that we enjoy and at the same time learn (in a good way) from watching shows in these TV networks.

I watch some shows from both stations but mostly GMA because the TV reception is a lot clearer than that of ABS-CBN. Both stations have their own unique shows and I think both are quite successful in their own way. GMA is more on telefantasya and caters more to the younger generation while ABS-CBN is more into drama and caters more to the adult audience.

There are some shows in ABS-CBN that I like to watch and same goes with GMA. I prefer to watch the news in GMA as well as their documentaries. ABS-CBN offers good drama shows, and I also think they do much better voice-overs for foreign tv series than the other network.

i think its depends upon on the taste of viewers which station is the best for them, but for me their are both better. i like the prime-time shows in abs but i like the noontime shows in gma.

Which station is better in what? GMA7 rules the news and documentary department. I rarely watch news in ABS-CBN because they are biased. When it comes to prime time shows, ABS-CBN leads when it comes to story, I'm not a fan of this prime time shows and I don't have a second to watch them but GMA7 like to revive old shows and copy popular stories which is a big turn off to me. But still many Filipino loves and enjoy both GMA7 and ABS-CBN. Now the competition will be tough because TV5 is being aggressive, more competition the better. We can expect more good quality shows and news from them. Cheers!

Viewing must be based on quality. Take your pick... I like Howie Severino, Anthony Taverna, Winnie Monsod, Jessica Sojo, Bernadette Sembrano, Vicky Morales, Kris Aquino... probably even Steven.

Hi there! Both stations was good and you could see how they work hard to improve their line up of programs just to satisfy the changing preference of the filipino audiences. Admittedly, i like ABS-CBN more than GMA 7 but i watched and like some of GMA 7's shows as well...

my family loves ABS CBN a long time ago.but when they have teleseryes which are not good in eyes of children,we turn to GMA.most shows today,we watched still more of kapamilya.at noon,we watched wowowee and after a certain portion we turn to eat bulaga where we watched our favorite game portion.when it comes to primetime shows,we loved the first 2 kapamilya shows after the news and then we turn again to kapuso until the last show before the news again. but for a long time,i can say we really still are "kapamilya". i guess,we really loved more of kapamilya talents than of kapuso. and when it comes to drama,abs got workshops everytime they begin doing teleseryes.that' why they really are prepared for such scenes. i don't know if gma have workshops for their talents.
