What advices could you give for a newbie writer in writing articles?

Write everyday. It is through consistent writing that your skill gets hone. Although some are born as writers, I still believe that consistent training helps a lot. And also, you have to read more. There are intelligent writers who can write anything under the sun but sooner or later, they will run out of ideas. It's better to enrich yourself with new thoughts and ideas. Lastly, after writing try to edit your work. This way, you will be able to see your mistakes. I am also a newbie writer. I enjoy writing a lot. I just hope for more writing opportunities online.

Try to put yourself in the position of the reader. You have to find out what the reader wants and what would make them come back to you again and again. Are they reading for information or entertainment? Do they find your writing is enjoyable and easy to understand. What else might they want to know? Some people would argue that spelling, punctuation and grammar have to be spot on. I think it's more important that you have something to say and that you say it well. Give your opinions, but invite others to have an opinion. That way you will get people commenting on your writing. Enjoy.

read a lot, anything and everything. the more u read, the better. it not only improves ur writing skills, but also it helps you brainstorm and think up possible topics to write about as well as it helps u become open to different ideas in the world. i have joined a couple of writing sites, and sometimes i do reviews for books, movies, and graphic novels. i also summarize various reality show episodes, since i watch them for fun, anyway. i even summarized the two weeks of the olympics. that was a lot of work and a big headache because it was hard to follow on tv. talk to different people. sometimes meeting different people can inspire u talk write about something. observe ur surroundings and right what u see.

If you are a writer you know by now that you write good! I read many articles online and what I noticed was that some simply beat about the bushes before going the main topic. It is so annoying. So just keep your pieces of work clean and to the point. Also never keep things closed off. I mean write with an open mind. That will help you explain everything better in your articles.
