Hey gang just wanted to let you know be careful with PTC sites. This is what happened to me about two weeks ago. I was working on one and somehow I got a virus on the laptop I was borrowing. Now I am back to the computer in the library and can't get much online work done. I am now concerned my info is floating around somewhere and I even got a call for some Korean school I never applied for. Pretty hard since I live in California. Anyway I will be off and on here when I can come on so if I don't get to responses right away that is the reason why. I have to replace my own computer and I was also looking for a full-time job so I can get the money for a new computer. I will be down but not out. I did enjoy PTC and I guess when I can come back I have to check and see if any of them are still there or been scammed out. The person who has the laptop is keeping it shut down but still I have no idea how long the virus was going or how much of my info got out. Please be careful and be aware this can happen. I am sure it already has happened to people on here. I don't know how to avoid this except for quitting PTC's altogether. If anyone else has this experience or advice when I go back would love to hear it. Again I will get back to you when I can I already miss not being on here everyday I really liked checking in and seeing what was happening at My Lot. I will be back hopefully sooner rather than later. Peace To All

Yeah aside from viruses, you get adwares and spywares. Your computer might look fine, but these things are making your computer run slower so proceed with caution.

Ya as most of these sites has scripts which download malicious contents to your system but with good browser and properly configured security software this can be prevented and this problem mainly applies for windows os users , i use linux not much to bother about same applies for mac and solaries users
