Well, me too. Every time I cry for a long time, it hurts my eyes and it makes my eyes look really swollen. Yeah, I couldn't open it well too. It looks like it's been bitten by ants and I look funny. They say to make it feel better, you just have to rub your eyes mildly with ice. But me, I just let the time pass until my eyes feel normal again.

It is normal that after a lot of crying our eyes are swollen so I just stay at home for some couple of hours in order to relax and become calm.

hi sheanne, It is in crying that we are able to express our emotional recollection, our fears, our thoughts.. We cannot prevent not crying because this makes us human, this shows sympathy and empathy to other, this can also be a product from tears of joy. The severity of pain inside oneself help this crying factor freely express one's feelings and able to recover in given proper time. Crying mediates your feelings of sorrow, mourning, and emotional status in life though the amount of pain costs depends on the attachments and influence of the person concerned. However, it is in crying that represent us, not as weak people but as HUMANS.. who can feel, be hurt and sensitive as a person.

Crying is very important, because we express what we feel in our innermost being the pressure of letting it out is what makes our eyes swell, because no words can express what the body is feeling except for it to CRY.
