The Cell, Jacob's Ladder, Videodrome, What Lies Beneath, Frailty, The Shining, The Secret Window, The Others, Hide and Seek, Cube, What Lies Beneath, The Shining, Night Of The Demon, Rosemary's Baby, Audition, Bug, Gothika, The Ring, Psycho, Frailty ,Session 9, The Others, 1408, Repulsion and The Machinist.
That would be some of my personal favorites in the psychological horror genre. There is a mix mix there. You might have seen some of them but they are all really good in their own right.

Dear friend,
I like quality horror movies, many of horror movies are less feared. I never had seen any horror movie that is much feared. If possible I would like to see these horror movies alone. Moreover I do have a wish to see horror movie alone seated near to a graveyard. May watching a horror movie alone in a cemetery or mortuary. Hope that full effect will be well got.![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

ENglish horror movies?? There are not much to recommend actually.. IF u wanna the best horror movies, go for asian ones.. haha =D Though u might not understand the language, but there are subtitles for u to read.. hehe ^_^
GO for indonesian or malaysian horrors, if u are really bold!! IF not, thai movies will be good alternative.. hehe ^_^
However, if u are insistent on english movies, go for shutter island, which is quite a recent movie.. OR go for 'paranormal activity', which is based on a true story.. haha
