UK equivalent to the Ivy league?

Can someone please tell me what the UK equivalent of the Ivy league is? I'm considering studying in the UK next term, and I'd really like to know some good schools, outside of Oxbridge that is.

I don't know much about it, but London School of Economics is one of the best one, I've heard (Heard from my father-in-law who graduated from there)

Yeah, it is one of the best in the world. But I was looking for a Med school! Thanks anyway!
