I guess you have that as a desktop wallpaper for now. I bet the price will drop, loads of competition. Thanks for commenting :)

I love everything that Apple makes, and that means that I love the iPad too
It has it's own negative things and positive things, but I think that it is more positive than negative. It has no camera or flash, but it has a great screen and it is just so awesome to watch pictures and movies on it. It is also great for playing games, but the games aren't really that great...
I am not getting one yet though, because I am waiting for the next generations of it, because the next generations are always better than the older versions. I am not even 100% that I am going to buy one, because I don't have enough money for it... If I have enough money to spend when they have come up with a better version, then I will definitely buy one

I used to be an iphone hater but I've become a convert after getting one for myself. There are so many different kinds of apps to keep yourself occupied!
Ipad seems to be a gigantic version of the iphone? Would be interested in getting one if the price is right. For those who're interested, there's a raffle for free ipads on facebook. No harm trying I suppose!

I have no idea why you have such a negative view about the touch screens and Ipad. I don’t have an I pad but yes I do have an ipod and that is something very important for me. I really love and the applications that are in it are simply amazing. It is like a swiss knife. You can do a lot of things with it and that it why it is so popular. I would request you to free your mind and have a look at it. I am sure you will like it.

Yeah I kind of want to get an IPAD but I don't want to get their current model they are coming out with. Their next generation of the IPAD will be much better and I'm sure it will come out in only a couple of months. The things I didn't like about the IPAD was that you don't have a taskbar and can only focus on one website at a time and it's a little bit too big still. Once they make it smaller and make it better for multitasking I'll be interested in buying one because the overall feel is much more comfortable then a labtop but I agree with you on touch screens kind of sucking.

I too am like you I dont like the idea od touch screens. First the screen would get all grubby from fingerprints and second I am afraid that it would go off in my pocket or something from getting touched. I to just like my cellphone and my laptop nothing touch screen for me. I wish they would just keep it wiht the buttons instead of the touches.

Hey Joedollarhuat,
To be honest with you I was the same way about touch screen stuff hate touching things and scared it might just get dirty etc etc. well now I have a touch screen phone.. Love the sucker haha.. But yeah to answer your question base on the discussion Title..
I will in fact buy a iPad to be on date I will most likely buy one this Month. Around the middle of the Month. Planning to get it on the 12th to be honest with you. I was told repeatedly it's a mixture of a Mac and Ipod together. Which is Awesome in my book haha..
Yeah It's very thin Nice weight. Large screen like a laptop or Netbook in your hands. Believe I look and search for days watching reviews on everything I want or need.. or I think will be very useful to me. In the future and now. So yeah Watching Videos after Videos of Reviews and Peoples opinion about the Device. I decided to buy the iPad..
I'm into Apps and stuff but I don't think I'm going to be downloading some like crazy so I'm planning to get the 16GB with Wifi Only. I will most likely use it in my home not at Work. There are people that will love one these things. So they will steal it..
Word of advice. Try it get it or go to a Local bestbuy store or Applestore and try the puduct out. test it.. mess with it.. I use to say I hate touch screen. Now I love them. It feels like you have so much Control in something so little. and thin. Believe.. I not saying that just to sound .. All crazy
I did try it out.. yes the Price is Wow.. Steve (Maker of the iPad) Said $499 is good yes for people in Med-High Class people in Med Class can purchase it .. but at a later time. Lower class probably have to say up.
I'm not saying what Class I'm in.. but yeah if it was $349 or what ever then it will be wow.. $299 will be AWESOME .. You can't beat that what so ever..
People say that the ipad is just a big iPod. well I hear that from people that most of the time don't have one or can't afford one. Not to stereotype but yeah.. Watch tons of videos to make sure I am doing the right thing.
Yeah I agree it seems more like a Want then a Need but to me the App world will develop in High Force that it will be extremely Convinent to everyone. To me the only downside of the iPad is no camrea but it will be like holding a Huge Camera.. ..
Well yeah.. There is my opinion. What I think and recomend to everyone. etc etc.. Take care and have a nice day. :)

At this point in time probably now, as it just to expensive, and I already have the ipod touch, so I really don't need the ipad, as it is just an over sized ipot anyway. I know tht it is probably a nice thing to have, but not sure I want to sepnd what they are charging for it, as it would be harder to take it around, as it is so much bigger, however it can be used like a laptop too. As of right now, no, I am not going to buy one, but maybe eventually I might, but not so sure about that either. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I've considered getting an IPAD, but I hate touch screens too. It's the messy fingerprint oils that drive me nuts. Still, I do like the concept, so I may end up purchasing one in the future. It's just that I would like to wait until a better version comes out. They'll upgrade and improve it, so it'll be more worth its high price in the future.

Good Evening dear friend , actually i used to own an Iphone with a Touch Screen , and only after two months of owning it , the screen got broken , the truth is that i am more of a brute , and an iphone with a touchable screen it really wasn't a great accesoir for me ,luckilly i have wonned it in a freeroll Poker tournament and i haven't paid nothing for it , even tho' i do regret not giving it to my sister , because she is alot more carefull with these types of phones , as it goes for IPAD i never had one and i have never been tempted to buy one , simply because i dont think its a thing that i need.
Have a nice evening dear joedollarhuat.
