Recently, my family has resorted to using turkey meat rather than beef because it is quite a bit cheaper... I have done this in the past and didn't care for it but I think I found a great way to make it taste better.. I add season all and worshire sauce to it... and if we are making hamburgers I add some flour to make the patties stick better... Do any of yall use turkey meat and if you do what do you do to season it...

I have never used turkey meat for my burgers but I have used it to make taco meat and to put in casseroles! I can not tell the difference when I use it in the two things I listed above because I use the same seasoning I always use and it makes it taste the same! I probably would not like it on hamburgers though. The turkey meat is actually a little bit healthier for you! I like it with tacos for that reason and its cheaper! Happy Mylotting!

Yes, turkey meat works as a burger, as you say, with proper seasonings and also proper moisture. On a similar discussion, I mentioned Donald Trump's "Mar-a-Lago" turkey burger, available on line and at Oprah.com. I also add mushrooms and Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Worcestershire works well, as you say, and a bit of hot sauce.

If im haveing a turkey burger it has to be soaked on gravy to the point where you have to eat it with a fork and knife and lots and lots of turkey and gravy. basicaly a hot turkey sandwitch on a burger bun. Other then that i wouldnt eat it at all.
