Massage - Having a good body massage

Today I had a good massage of my whole body and it felt so warm and wanted to have a shower but then family said to me it's not good to have a shower or even drink a glass of cold soda or water after having a massage. I followed what they told me, didn't took a shower and just had a tepid glass of water which I actually never did when I was working in other country... after a massage I took a shower and took a glass of cold water. Mylotters, so what do you do after a good massage?

hi sheanne. i regularly go to the massage parlor. after a full body massage i do not take a shower. i just take a bath the following day. cheers!

After a massage, I am always advised by the masseuse not to take a bath for several hours. Thus, I have my massages late in the afternoon or early evening and I take my shower prior the massage.
