Have you ever shared a topic to a non-mylotter? You find a certain topic really interesting that you cannot get over it. Like a terrible dilemma of one of the mylotters here. When you get together with your friends do you share it to them and ask for their opinion?

Actually yes I find my self doing this quite often! It is amazing how many good and helpful discussions will start here on Mylot and get spread out side of the Internet world! When I find a recipe on here or a tip for something then I will share it with my friends off the internet! Happy Mylotting!

Yes and there are times when in the outside world we hear a friend talk about his problems and then take it here in mylot to ask for the mylotter's advice and opinions.

I have shared MyLot discussions with non Mylotters, yes. Sometimes there is information on MyLot that is relevant to someone who is not a member so of course I would pass it on.
I think this is a great way to bring more traffic into Mylot. Maybe, as a result they may want to become members as well.
I have also had that happen.
MyLot is a great place to be and is fun to share with friends and family sometimes.
I have not yet listed any links to discussions on the internet though, other than my referral link but is an idea should there be information useful to a certain niche.
Thanks you for your post!

Good points mellon. I agree. MyLot is a great place to present issues to get a feel for what others think but also to share with outsiders gives us a wider perspective.
Discussions on a variety of topics is a great way to gain more understanding and I love MyLot for that!

Yes. Because sometimes it's good to hear about other people's perspectives. It gives us more understanding on the subject. Although, of course the last say will be up to us.
I enjoy mylotting as well, sometimes it helps me vent out things I can never say to anybody face to face.

Oh all the time, but not about a terrible dilemma as much as things I have learned, especially helpful hints. The latest was poison ivy cures, I am sharing with everyone.

Same here. There are alot of things I learned from mylot that I was able to share to my peers. And they would always drop their jaws because every time we meet up -- there's always something new that I would share to them. ![](/Content/images/emotes/niceday.gif)

Yes! Many times! I always share topics with non-MyLotters especially about religion. Whenever I find good topics, I share them with my Church mates, and seek help from them especially when I meet tough responses from other MyLot members.

Don't you get a hard time coping with topics about religion here? This place is so diverse. So many religions/faith.

I do have such of an experience wherein I had shared my experiences on online programs such as myLot and my online freelancing work to a non-myLotter and a non-online worker.
It was during a reunion that I had attended with; it was a reunion between me and my grade school batches. They were quite matured like me and they are also working. They don’t have that much keen knowledge on online jobs and online earning opportunities, so while they were asking me about my current work i told them about my online workloads.
And surprisingly, they were quite astonished and educated about the earnings you can do via online work. They were also intrigue by myLot however, they are non-online working type of people so they don’t have the time to do such program since they are more into the “traditional” working people.
But it was quite nice sharing my knowledge about myLot to them.
