Why are people using paid to click as a way of earning?

Hi everyone,
I was just thinking about why people use the paid to click sites. I see lots of people on mylot who are members of many other paid to click sites. As the income is very low I was just wondering why people do this.

You have to look at the bigger picture. While it's true that you earn little if you worked alone, you'll earn more when you get referrals whether direct or rent. Should you need more details, feel free to PM me. Member of more than 30 sites and do this everyday. Income is increasing every single day. Why don't you give it a try? Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Okay all I hear from everyone here is referral this and referral that. WHERE and HOW exactly do you get these referrals? This part always discouraged me because I used to be part of Quixtar/Amway where they wanted us to recruit people and I always look back on that as a very negative experience. That is why I'm asking this.

As it is repetive and easy to fullfill withouth needing any knowledge of anything, and something like that is rewarding, no matter how small, it pays off and get a kind of "Addiction" effect I think. People will think "After a while I will have 10 USD without knowing it!" , which motivates them.
Personally I only got into the Online Money-business today, but this is just what I think of it.
