Get paid to LISTEN

Hello there myLotters. Haven't made a new post for quite long, but you've seen me trolling around posting ninja faces and getting on your nerves! Well, that's me, people don't change, but let's get into the subject. The title is "Get paid to LISTEN". I am not promoting a new rich-scheme program. I am just making clear that you will be get paid IF you LISTEN. In details: When I came in myLot, I though I was the master of everything and anything. I was (am?) arrogant. It's like when you finish your studies and you get a new job. You think that you are too great to even speak to the people that used to work over there. After a hundred of posts (that's how much it took me) I realized lots of things: a) No one is a guru. Everyone knows something that someone else doesn't. Even if you don't like it, that's the truth. Learn to live with it. b) Stop seing myLot as an earning opportunity and ONLY. There are people in here that are more than happy to help. c) People do help, but they don't give away one-million-dollar secrets. What I mean is that, yes, people will give you some hints, but that's it. After that you are on YOUR OWN. Think about it: We are all in the same industry. We are partners and competitors at the same time. d) Stop speaking and start listening. Just stop speaking for a couple of days and start reading what ever people have posted/post. I did this for two days. I went at the "make extra money" interest and started reading from the most recent post until the oldest I could get. I got tired that's why I stopped, but it worth the time. There are some REAL diamonds in these discussions. Cycle them. Wide open your eyes and read CAREFULLY. For ONCE understand that THERE ARE people that know MORE than you do. Being unassertive will help you both on-line and offline. I am telling you that I've been there. I've tasted it. For once I shut my mouth and REALLY got paid for it. I got paid with knowledge. I understood how MUCH patience matters at this industry. I beg you for the good of YOURS and only, for once, stop and LISTEN. Sorry for speaking England very best (it's a joke...), but it's still early in the morning here. Yours, the ninja troll poster Valkerion

But you are right!! If people just take the time to read others "stories or blogs".They will see or read something they never heard before, somebody might know something you don't or vice-verse.It helps me a lot because I'm still new to this research income online thing.

@TeeTee30 To be honest, I am not that sure about blogs. I have seen many people posting fake proofs at their blogs (they stole the proofs from a forum) just in order to get referrals. But if you read the stories, and then realized that the poster is a trustful guy, then yes, you can bookmark his/her blog and get valuable information through that too! Thanks for the reply :)

You are soo right. I remember when I started and have to learn on my own; some years ago when the online community wasn't so large or at least not so communicative - there were few places(some blogs and fewer forums) where you can discuss such things, and more, there were a few people wanting to learn the others. And now, there are lot of info and places you can gain the info you need - the only problem is that you need to do your research well and separate the good info from the bad one. As for me, I've joined MyLot not for the earning possibilties but for the info I can gain here - as you can see if you look at my profile, I'm not very active in commenting or starting discussion, but be sure, I'm reading daily the stuff that interests me and I've surely learn a lot of things here - things that were really new, or that I've knew, but I didn't know how to use it. And yes this is one great discussion.

Hello there Trykro. Long time no chat! Indeed, in our days Internet is full of information. Some time ago people tried to HAVE data. Now we do have data but the problem is to separate the good from the bad. Thanks a lot for your reply

How far back did you go? Did you oly do this interest or all the others that are similar too? I agree that there is a goldmine here but sadly people haven't got time read the response above their own, let alone all the pages in an interest Their loss

Or all the pages of a discussion ... I am having a lot of fun reading all this stuff, especially today. I wonder if people realized how much fun they were missing if they would start reading and responding more instead of posting all the crap that they are posting and thinking that they will earn something from it.

I remember reading posts that were 4-5 months old! But no, I just read the ones at this interest. Ah, time, our greatest enemy! Thank God I invented a time machine.

Why do you think I took a 3 month long break from the Lot and came back again? I was "listening" to a lot of things other fellow myLotters had said. Oh, by the way- How are you today? How has life been treating you? Missed me?..If not.....

What? When you are flirting with all the ladies, do you think I will sit back and not flirt with all the men? So yes, I have been around doing just that. And yes, it's good to shut up at times and just listen. Keep all the sense open and absorb things. We can learn a whole lot from other people's experiences ;)

Thanks a ton for posting this message. It is quite helpful to everyone if they do pay attention. I have been saying something similar for a long time. I have received a lot of knowledge through many mylotters and it has helped me quite a bit. I am still learning and still getting more and more information every day by listening to others that have given advice and information here on mylot.

Well, some of them do in order to take advantage of you. For instance people say that pyramid scheme programs do pay just because they want you to sign under them so they will get their commission. But it's easy to identify the honest members from the ones that are not. Happy earnings cowboy!

Hello Valkerion, I agree with you that some posts are really good at myLot, and offered me new possibilities to broaden my horizons in making extra money. I never saw you arrogant, but sometimes severe with newcomers promoting a link, probably because I like hawkers . Only a few members are arrogant at myLot : they are thinking that they are gurus, and have a cliché and a stereotype ready for everything. Most of the members are open minded and I spend also a lot of time to read what they say and learn from there. Yes, we will not get here a secret to make a million dollar but some new tracks to explore, and I regret I have not joined myLot earlier. Have a nice day.

I too regret that I haven't joined myLot earlier. But I am not that much of a veteran in online earning even though I am just doing fine. About the link posters, hell, once I wanted to become a cop! I think I am releasing my complex over here! Maybe there are not THAT many arrogant people, but it is in my nature to try and make everyone perfect around me. And for me myLot is a great community with which I spend more than 4 hours per day. So I want my community/environment to be perfect as well! Thanks a lot for your reply. I think you are one of the best responders in myLot and following your replies is a must for me! Happy earnings!

and i thought i was the only one who actually went back to reading and reading and readng things here on mylot. the discussions for make extra money do get tiring in the long run but i've seen great postings from you and workingmom and some other guys on how to earn. I've stopped seeing mylot as a way to earn. instead i've come to treat it as a place to just post things and see if people have the same opinion on the subject. I have had several discussions wherein it's zero maybe because of the cryptic nature of the post, But i could care less. there were days where i stopped posting just to read back on the discussions for people and making extra money and dogs hehehehe plus going through the postings of those i've added as friends. i agree that the wealth of information you get out of reading and listening is worth more than posting something like... "what's your horoscope?" etcetera etcetera etcetera hope to see more of these sensible posts as i really enjoy reading it and replying to it

I am not too sure what your post is really meant to mean. Do we not discuss topics with others and just remain silent and just read. Or do we take our time over what we say and do and condense knowledge into short bursts of conversation. Sometimes in life you have to be assertive and ask or find the answers to our questions. Life is not so simple as sitting back and just listening. Diamonds may be a girls best friend but hard cash talks the loudest.

Sounds to me you wish to find the meaning of life first, before living a full life. Sadly people have tried for thousands of years to find the real answer to life and the universe but no-one has ever suceeded. Everyone is different and here for their own purpose. To find this purpose you must ask and learn. Each new day is different.

You are arrogant? Say it isn't so! From what little I have read from you, you definitely do not seem unassertive, either. I guess that I will just have to do some stalking ... erm, I meant reading and "listening" ... of my own to find out the truth behind the mystery that is Valkerion.

Oh baby, a guy after my own heart! I have not had much time to be on here lately, and I am not sure how much time I will have in the near future, either, but rest assured that you will definitely be added to the list of people that I need to stalk. If you keep up with MysD, however, then you will make my job much easier as I will be killing two birds with one stone so to speak (or rather stalking two people at once).

Too many people are here just to make money and miss out on the real good stuff that lurks unseen. I don't write posts everyday, it is helpful to stop and browse every once in a while. You get a lot of ideas and tips from the older posts. I only wish that the search engine worked a little better.
