Have you ever got in touch with along lost friend?

Oh yes, I have... It was because of the technology... I met a friend of mine after 15 years... He got my mobile number through a common friend, who he met on internet and got my number... It was thrilling, true!!!

i had found some of my college friend in facebook and friendster. and it feels good to communicate with them again just like the old times.

Hi biggerb, The same thing happened to me. I signed up with FB some 3 months back and I was so amazed at how long lost friends suddenly pop up on my wall. One friend during high school days reached me through FB, I found out she's been living in the US for more than 10 years now. Another one, who I used to "love to hate" at the same time (we were rivals in academics in school - I think the feeling was mutual back then), suddenly became a regular visitor at my profile, and we seem to have developed the friendship that we couldn't have back in high school coz we realized we share the same interests.

i had a bestfriend way back in preschool, and we were always together even on weekends (their family always invited me to sleep over, which my mom agreed because she felt at ease with them). we got separated when we shifted to other schools. years passed and though i wondered how she was, i didnt really try to get in touch with her. besides, i was shy and scared that maybe we may not have anything in common. when i started working though i got to meet a cousin of hers and told him that she used to be my bestest friend. he gave me her number so i could text her and set up a get together. it was as if we've been friends all along, and time that passed didnt affect our friendship! now we're still really really close and i'm glad that i got that chance to meet her again.

yes, i have found many of my old friends through website like facebook, but it is strange and very sad when i found that even if i found them, we can never be as close as we used to be. after long time dispearing from each other's life, we got new friends and had less similarities, no much words to say and always keep silence. after all, it is very amazing to find them again, even if we can not be the best friends to each other, to know they are living happily in the world makes me feel good.
