Slow Cooker are Wonderful

I love my crock-pot. Today I am making Salsa Beef recipe only I'm substituting venison for the beef. I also make roast, chicken and soups. I have even made a cake also.

I love my slow cooker. Anytime I have ever made anything in it, it has been delicious. I mostly use it for soup, roast beet with potatoes and carrots, or roast chicken or port. Mmmmmmmm. An excellent kitchen tool!

Hi, snowqueen200802. I don't have a crock pot, but this is something that I don't mind having either. My grandmother used to have one. I think she still has the same one that she about 20 years ago. I think that it may be working. Or she may just have another new one that she is actually using. I am not sure. But anyway, I would love one. I saw one in Walmart for a great price. I used to dislike when my grandmother would cook in this, because, the food would take so long to cook and I don't like waiting to eat. I am usually hungry right then and there. I think that this pot is good to have when you have already eaten. That way, if it takes so long to cook, you can wait on it with patience without being hungry. My father-in-law also has one of these too. And he loves cooking his meats in it early in the mornings, while everyone is asleep. I think that this is a good time to cook.. Hopefully no one is very famished in the very wee hours.

HI, I don't ever use my slow cooker. I'm home all the time so i cook whatever i want. The cooker holds too much for just me. I never did get in the habit of using it even when my sons were home & i worked.

My favorites are Spaghetti and Chili for the slow cooker, I also tried meatloaf before and it came out good. Don't forget soups they really good for slow cooking

My crockpot is almost always in use I have made the most wonderful things in it anything from cheesey broccoli soups to boiled peanuts I tend to be in the kitchen a lot and even though I cook from scratch there is also a reason to use my crock pot I have made breakfast casseroles, lots of cakes and desserts too!
