mot of the time i read young adult books. even thou i'm not really a young adult anymore, i still love them. i like reading but i don't like reading long, boring and deep books. sometimes i do read paolo coehlo books though. i also like mitch albom's but i don't buy them. for me, they're too short and they cost a lot. so i just borrow them from friends. i also like nicholas sparks, although sometimes when they turn nicholas sparks' books into movies, it seems like the movies are more romantic.

I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy. I can read for hours, especially on audiobooks, which allow me to post where I write. Of late, I've started reading a bunch of history books.

I often read on personal improvement. If I find an interesting book I might sit at a stretch for 4 to 6 hours and see that the book is finished at the earliest. After wards its find one more interesting one and get down to read.If somehow the fond book is not interesting I'll leave it in between and never bother to revive.

i mostly read fiction, or something i am researching. reading fiction is about a couple of hours before bedtime until a fall asleep. and researching something takes as long as i find the answer i am happy with.

I like books about business and investing. They are like manuals to me. I believe if you make a habit of reading at least 2 books in one month, after one year your knowledge can be compared to a guy who have finished business course in college.

I love to read about philosophy and will read any such book I can get my hands on. Well, who am I kidding I will read any book I can get my hands on period, but I truly enjoy philosophy, ancient history or ancient literature or at least older literature. I sit down and read for just as long as I can conceivably get away with sitting down and reading. A book is one of my favorite things.

About Health:
i will sit and read for 1/2 hour
Preventive care is a valuable tool in maintaining good health. by having regular medical check- ups we can often detect problems and take care of them before they become serious enough to be life threatening.
some testes that we should routinely request like BP, Urinalysis, Blood Tests, cholesterol level, chest x-ray, EKG

Hi Careguarden,
If I'm on the internet then I read to learn. I like to find out what people are blogging about, what people are asking, about how to build blogs and websites and the tools you can use.
If I'm reading a book then I read to learn or for pleasure. I like self development books and books about computing, programming etc.
What I like best of all is reading books for pleasure. Being able to curl up at the end of the day with a good book is a real treat for me. If I have a really good book I sometimes continue reading until 2 or 3 in the morning. Then I suffer because I have to be up early in the mornings. I love the internet but it will never replace a good book.

I usually read about programming.
PHP or C++, C++ most of the times. I sit down for a couple of hours if I don't have something important to do.. I like reading when the book is interesting to me.. if it's a boring one it could take months to read it
