About to have my first Busiess Meeting, should I be nervous?

OMG Saturday morning I will have my very first business meeting. I will be telling 5 women about my two new business ventures and see if they are interested in supporting the dream as well. I am more excited then nervous... I know that things are going to go well and they will not only see my vision but will want to be apart of it. If you were about to go into your first business meeting, how would you feel?

What is there to be nervous about? I understand you have a vision and if you have planned it correctly then all you have to do is lay it out and explain what it is that you vision. Remember to be prepared for all kinds of rejection and worst case scenarios. You just have to believe in you and your product.

Yup, I would be nervous as well; however after the first 10 minutes (after warming up), I'm sure you would be doing fine! If you are presenting on a business venture or products that you are confident of, have track records of their success or a sound business plan, your audience will definitely be interested. In addition, enthusiasm and passion about the venture (plan/product) will win you customers and business partners. My best wishes to you!

that's just what i was thinking. after a few mintues i should be fine. besides it will be people i know and trust. this is something i have been working on for the past 6 years. so i know i am on the right track to giving something back, while making a really nice income

Hi 34momma,
Nerves are normal before such events. It's a sign that you're excited and the adrenaline is pumping. The response helps your body in its state of heightened awareness. You're prepared to deal with new situations and to sort out problems.
Yes, you should be slightly nervous. It's a good thing. Just don't let the nerves spiral out of control. It sounds to me as though you are looking forward to the event and that you are well prepared. I'm sure everything will go well. Let us know.

hey Hatley... that's just the way i feel. I am so excited. I have dotted all of my i's and crossed all of my tees. i am ready to answer all of their questions and say i don't know if i don't know. but come on Saturday.. let's get this show on the road
