3d tv's? Good or bad?

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of the 3dtv's that have recently been released? Is there a particular brand one should consider above the rest? Is there any "real" winner or are they all pretty much lame for now? How realistic are they?

its great the features are amazing.. 3D television in your home.. ahm i think the big disadvantage of it is.. if has any problem with interacting with the eyes of the people using it.. it can damage any nerves because of spacial interference,,, just curious.. :)

I heard that a lot of it is general garbage, kinda like how bluray players originally "upconverted" everything and it looked all funky. That is how I have heard it describe. I was just wondering if this is true or not? Does it have any sort of actual reality to it or is it so rediculous it is funny?

3dtv is nice, amazing and elegant but I don't know what is its dis advantage and how can it affect our health or in our vision. This is a good TV but maybe bad to our vision, it may damage our eyes.. Good Day

I haven't seen one of these out there yet,but there's a bar not far from Me (I've yet to visit!) that was the first in the area to have one of them...Being in Ireland,I Hear Guinness sponsor the 3D Glasses you need to (Wear/buy) for this premises' TV..I was just thinking...With a Radio, you can move around as you want and hear whatever it would be you'd want to hear...With a TV,You're now becoming an instant Couch potato, sat down to be to watching a show comfortably..and now to 3D,so you get to be in a certain position in the room to watch, wearing glasses..I like the idea of a better viewing experience, but won't broadcasters have to catch up with 3D cameras to produce the content?

well isn't it current or upcoming tv's need glasses for those to work? if yes then i think it will not work, why do you need special glasses for tv. Well if they fix the glasses thing then i think its another step to the tv technology but i think it will increase the price a tv. i hope they just can invent something so it can be more efficient. like more thin, less power usage, and such.
