i read it in the articles before that a person must at least have a minimum of 6 hours sleep in a day or it will affect much with our health, it might not affect us that soon but somehow if we keep on doing the same thing then there will be a risk in our health. your right that people become so busy now a days not just about our work but also in our personal life and 24 hours is not enough for us to do that but at least give 6 hours of sleep as we need to priorities our sleep too.

This used to be the case with me. I would wake up at 4 AM to work at Macy's part-time from 5:30 to 10:30 or 11 every day, go to school from 12 to 2, work my second part-time job (at the dry cleaners) from 3:30 to 8, and then get home and study my butt off, clean, do chores, and I'd end up getting about 4 hours of sleep every night. It made me crazy, it really did. I think sleep deprivation is not something that you can put up with for longer than a few weeks; we NEED sleep. Sleep is our friend. I eventually quit that early morning part-time job and decided to take that cut in pay inspite of all the sleep deprivation I was having trouble with. It was scary. I think the best thing we can do is get out of these situations so it doesn't become long-term. It's bad on your health - mentally and physically.

I experience this on a regular basis. I would be lying if I told you that it doesn't affect my life, but it is something I have had to learn to deal with. It is 12:30 A.M. here now, and I am sitting here watching TV and relaxing, I should be in bed, but it seems like all I do these days is go to work and come home and go to bed. I feel like I have no life, so I am sitting here tonight just watching TV and relaxing and posting on MyLot. I am going to bed in a little while though, because I am getting a little tired. I guess I should go get a little sleep soon.

I think we should never lose sleep due to work. We work to earn a LIVING and not to DIE due to overwork. We will always have work, it is unending, you finish one and the next task is already on its heels. There is a time for everything. There is a time to work and a time to rest. If we maintain a good balance between sleep and work then we can look forward to a healthy and happy life.

Good recommendation.
You know, in our office there are people work regularly 16-20 hrs. a day for 2-3 days continuously. Hard to beleive? But it is true.

As far as I am concerned, I think with the competitive so fierce in our daily life, I think we should try our best to keep a good body health now. Though the work load is so heavy for us, I think we still need to keep an attention on this . Take good care of our body health. The first thing that we need to do is that we must sleep as we want.

Well, Sleep is very important. I've read from an article that humans can survive without eating for weeks but not without sleep. So, I guess sleep is more important to our health.

Yes sleep is necessary for good health. many people can not sleep well for there work. I think they should reduce there work time otherwise they will fall in sick. Then they have to stop there work. Batter to reduce there work before sick.
Very rare i fall such a situation. otherwise i can sleep well.
