Do you like rain?

I always like rain,it reminds me of my childhood. I love playing in the rain even if i am old enough to act like a kid. Whenever rainy season is here in my country,i play with my kids ,running on the rain. Have a good day always

I don't care much for winter rain. Cold and nasty. Here in So. Ca. they tell me that we have a Mediterranean climate. That is something that borg246 can identify with. On very rare occasions a summer storm will move north from the west coast of Mexico and move though the south west bringing lightening and rain. That rain I love.

I love a nice light spring rain. I don't care for flooding rain that lasts for days and days. I love to be in the forest and have a light rain too. Light being the key word here. Rainbows afterwards are a nice plus also. I remember when I was a little girl it was get pretty hot during the day this time of year and close to evening there would be a light rain to cool things off. I would watch the occasional lightning out the back door window.

hi, i do like rain but that depends on circumstancces.I like it during my off day where i really enjoy the sound of raindrops at home.The weather are cooling and sounds peaceful where i enjoy it most.If it heavy downpour during driving or stuck in a traffic jam,well,thats too bad.It might resulted in flash flood or damage to properties etc.So ,that really depends on situation.

Hi borg246, I definitely like when it rains; I prefer the rain rather than the summer heat. I can sleep well when it rains. But I don't like when there's flood. We can't help it though because of global warming so our climate becomes erratic. We need the rain for everything: for our plants, as a source of water; I think everything. Rain has a diversified purpose.

I do like the rain because I hate too much sun. LOL. The heat is killing me. But I don't like getting wet because of rain if I'm on my way to somewhere like school or going to the malls.

I love to travel to tropical places and visit in the dry season so I can avoid the rain. The rain makes the green plants look so lovely so I know rain is valuable for the environment. The landscape looks like a green carpet rather than a brown mat. I don't mind short downpours of rain when I am in a hot country. Things soon dry up but it is rains all the time it is unpleasant. In my home country I prefer dry weather and rain can be annoying. My children hate it when I put the waterproof cover over their buggy. When I am sightseeing I don't like to get wet shoes because of the rain. The best time for it to rain is when I am asleep in my bed. I do enjoy seeing a rainbow I must admit. I fondly remember being caught in a tropical thunderstorm in Northern Australia. I know the smell that comes after rain is lovely.

Oh I love the rain! I love how everything seems to be peaceful outside when its raining. I love the atmosphere that it brings.

Yes I like the rain (unless its cold). Its refreshing, and cools you down when its hot. It washes all the dirt, and trash away. It entertains me, because I like to watch all the waterphobes try to run and hide from the rain. And the sound of it falling is really relaxing.

It's been a while since the last time that it rained here in my place so you can just imagine the temperature here. It's really hot. I wish it will rain again pretty soon. I love rain but not heavy rains, the type that would cause flood. I like just the type of rain that makes a gentle sound against the roof. It really puts me to sleep listening to that sound.

i definitely like rain thats sure, and ofcourse the smell when cement is wetted

I definitely love the rain now that the summer heat is really overwhelming. I always wish that it will rain today. That's the only way to bring down this terrible heat.

I live in England - so say no more I know ALL about rain!! Oh and we Brits love nothing better than a good moan about the weather!! However I don't find rain all bad, granted when we have had two weeks of consistent rain I do get a bit fed up with it, but when after a few weeks of no rain and my garden is looking very sad and thirsty it is welcome. Ideally I would love rain if it came each night while I slept, and let the sun shine all day!! I do love lying in bed of a weekend in the morning when I don't have to get up and listen to the rain falling on the roof - very relaxing!

I love the rain, but not the destructive kind. The rain smells like a vague memory. The view turns into grey. It's also a different song altogether when it falls, whether softly or persistently. I love the natural high or low it brings. When it rains, I am ardently compelled to remember.

I do and I don't like the rain. I like it when it doesn't rain all day non-stop. I like it when it's hot out and a shower will make it cooler. I don't like when a storm stalls out over my area causing flooding like it did the first weekend of this month. We had flooding in my neighborhood each day that weekend. I have lived here for 5 years and never delt with this sort of thing. The feeling now of being paranoid every time it starts to rain, that will this happen again. If it did happen again, will it get worse. I rather deal with flies, we have the biting insects that are driving me insane.

Yeah I love the rain, I happily walk around in it and I find it very amusing to see people act like they must avoid it at all cost. I don't get why people treat the rain like it's the end of the world, I guess it's each to their own but it's really cool and I like hearing the sound of the raindrops hitting windows etc.

Yes borg I love rain...I live in NSW Australia and I tell you when is dry is really dry...but when it rains is beautiful the earth smell new and every thing looks clean and the sky the next day is pure blue...I can think of raining days in winter time with a pot of soup boiling on the stove...the cat and the dog sleeping side by side by the log fire...yes I love my rain!

Hey Borg, I really do like the rain, I just love to sit in the warm and watch it falling, can be quite mezmerising! Although, it is a little annoying when you are out in it and it just starts blasting down, but quite enjoyable when you get back home ;) Was a little rainy here today! Lee.

For me it really depends on the time of the year. Right now it is December and the beginning of winter here and I don't like rain at all during this part of the year because it is always very cold and it has a tendency to freeze and make the roads very dangerous for travel. However, if we are talking about a summer storm, I absolutely love those because of the fact that it will cool everything down it is just really refreshing.

when i was at school, i like rain, because i can paly football with my friends in the rain, it seems crazy to others, but we enjoyed it. Not i had been working for 3 years, i don't like a rainy day, because it caused a lot of trouble when go to work..
