well mahatma was a gr8 personality who united millions of indians against the unruly britishers by just following the principles of non violence and religious unity.his action led the mighty britishers to leave the country

Mahatma Gandhi - Mahatma Gandhi- Entire India accepted and called him as Father of nation.
Frist of all thanks for starting a discussion about Mahatma Gandhiji. Mahatma Gandhi is really a Great Soul. Entire India called and Accepted him as the Father of the nation. He was called as BAPUji. He is man of his own kind in the entire world. He stood for SATHYA and AHIMSA. His contribution to the freedom of India is remembered for ever. The kind of smiple life he lead is unmatchable. The power, strength, courage, command, honesty he had in him make him so different. I really adore him from the bottom of my heart.
